First time there and the wife and I enjoyed it very much. I had there Mac & Cheese with tomato bacon garlic and loved it and the wife had the chicken marsala and she really enjoyed it and we had a very good and nice waitress too….the pic is of my mac & cheese not the best pic sorry about that. Oh and I really liked their French onion soup

I tend to forget about how good the food is at the County Seat Lounge. My steak was cooked perfectly. And of course the food was just spectacularly good. If you’re ever in downtown Hastings you should try it out. It’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for through excellent service and great food.

My wife and I went here for the first time this past Saturday and have to say we were very happy with our choice!! Holly the bartender was very friendly and told us about the history of the County Seat Lounge and other things to do in the Barry county area. We both ordered the chicken sandwich, my wife had the sour cream fries and I had the onion rings. The fries were great and the onion rings were hand cut and hand battered – and very good!!! The chicken on the sandwich was a full breast and was battered and cooked to perfection – best chicken sandwiches we have ever had. We will certainly be back and will look to try the steak and shrimp combo.

First time here. Walked out after sitting a good 30 minutes waiting for a drink. Wanted to express my concerns, but when I asked for a manager as I was walking out, the hostess acted as if there was no manager around. The place was not slammed, but there were rumblings I overheard at other tables regarding how long they had been sitting. This is a prime example of a restaurant that needs a good management team to see that customers get served in an expeditious manner. The service was inexcusable regardless of the reason.

Food was disgusting, staff was very lazy, and unfriendly. Everyone was just standing around talking. Kitchen is very disgusting. The way they handle food is outrageous, never seen anyone ever wear a pair of gloves while handling food. Most times its either way to under done, or just burnt. The menu is horrible their kitchen manager makes a different menu every week that has nothing appetizing on it, and is just way too OVER PRICED!!!!!

Had my soon to be daughter-in-law’s bridal shower here yesterday, could not be more pleased. Every guest commented on the beauty of the room, the food was excellent and the staff was amazing. Highly recommend!

Food was cold and our order was wrong but it tasted ok. You don’t get the quality of a meal you are paying for. This isn’t the first time we have ate here with a sub par experience. I am a small business owner and know first hand once I post this review the owner will be notified. Let’s see is they reach out to make things right. I noticed they have replied to the 5 star reviews but no interaction with those who left 2 to 3 star reviews. You would think you would want to learn and grow from these reviews…..
