I usually eat in the truck, but today warranted a sit down meal, fortunately this restaurant was open (pleasant surprise). Have to admit the food & service exceeded my expectations. Will eat here again.

Absolutely had a wonderful breakfast this morning. I ordered the “Long Haul breakfast” and it definitely hit the spot. And the waitress is the sweetest and most kind woman. And for a grand total after tax of $14.67 MONEY WELL SPENT I definitely will stop back in here!

Salmon was cook perfect, the pasta was good, and the soup. Portion size is actually good counting with soup and salad bar. Friendly staff, i really don’t have complains.

Do better! Being in a truck stop with people who pay 22.00 to park and 14.00 to shower (TA) where there is free parking and most people have free showers at loves across the street… the one amenity TA has is Country Pride. A quality cooked meal not off the roller grill… the only catch, you need to be able to access it! They close by 8p and don’t open again u til 10am!! That is crazy! It’s not like the store has many food options. The rollers only have 2 options at a time and u fortunately I can’t eat either of them. Now I’ve paid this money stayed here are snacks out of my truck and can’t even get breakfast before I leave either. You must to better!

I ordered blackened Salmon with fries and rice pilaf. Fish came out undercooked so I pointed it out to my waitress (Becky) and she said no problem 25 minutes later she brings me a Salmon on a plate with no fries or rice. I was expected to eat cold sides! I told her I didn’t want it and she got an attitude about it and put my rice in the microwave like I wasn’t going to hear it. I don’t blame her for the undercooked Salmon but a poor attitude and cutting corners doesn’t help. Never see me here again, I’d rather have TV dinner!

Do not order the chicken and dumplings, or you will be sorry. My stomach is tore all the way up. I am thankful that this TA keeps their bathrooms clean. Also, an unseasoned steak is considered a sin. I pray the food tastes better for the next guests.

I like to stop at Country Pride or Iron Skillet restaurants whenever I can; I have been to several over the last couple of years. This location is not the best but not the worst either. Customer service has been decent for this area so my son and I continue to eat here. I think my son likes looking at the souvenirs in the store more than anything. I recommend ordering breakfast items here. The dinner/lunch items that I have ordered here are not that good (except for the turkey and avocado sandwich they used to serve!). Although the place is meant for truckers they have a kid’s menu too. This is close to home, so we will be back whenever they decide to open.
