I stopped by Country Charm Coffee Shop in Anna thinking I’d just grab something quick… and ended up staying way longer than planned. I ordered the protein smoothie (which is honestly one of the best I’ve had) and a lemon poppy seed scone — and I’m not exaggerating when I say that scone might be the best in town.
What really made it special though was the conversation with the owner. Super kind, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. We ended up chatting about life, the community, and just random everyday stuff. It didn’t feel rushed or transactional — it felt like being welcomed in.
The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and perfect for getting work done or sitting with friends without feeling loud or crowded. Definitely one of those spots that feels like Anna’s little hidden treasure. I’ll be back for that smoothie… and probably another scone too.

Headed home this Sunday morning. We had breakfast at Sunview Café, in Anna. I needed more caffeine for the drive. Just a few blocks east is Country Charm Coffee. They were open on this bright sunny morning.
It is a modern small coffee shop; capable making just about any coffee concoction that you could want. The very friendly owners were managing the counter this morning. I had an Americano with a shot of cream. My wife had some kind of white mocha or something. Great tasting coffee, fair prices, fast service. They also have a few pastries, scones, and monstrous sized cookies.
The name of the shop “Country Charm Coffee” is a little deceiving. There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It’s modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, “Welcome Y’all!” “Charm?” I really don’t have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I’ll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is.
Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink.

Came in for a book club meeting. The place is very welcoming with lots of seating. The staff were super friendly, attentive and kind. Great place to meet up with a friend or just to have a quiet moment to yourself. They also have sweet treats…they looked amazing and will definitely try one my next time in! They serve lots of hot and cold beverages so there is something for everyone!

I had such a great experience at this coffee shop! The service was friendly and welcoming, and my coffee tasted amazing!! perfectly brewed and full of flavor. It’s such a cozy spot, perfect if you need a quiet place to get some work done on your laptop or have a small meeting. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable, with plenty of space and good Wi-Fi. Definitely a must-try!!

Went in for the first time today! The vibe inside is very cozy and chill. The barista was very helpful and explained the menu when I told him it was my first time in. We got the sticky bun and chai iced lattes and they were very good! Will be back!

The customer service was genuinely top-tier. When I mentioned what I was looking for, the staff actually opened a fresh bag from their sales stock just to brew it for me. I always drink my first cup black to test the quality, and it was incredible smooth, balanced, and exactly what I needed.
My husband loved his frozen coffee, and my son is still talking about the nice lady who gave him his M&M cookie. I also have my eye on the matcha for next time; when I asked about it, the barista’s eyes lit up with so much excitement that I know it’s going to be great. I hope they’re prepared to see a lot of me because I’ll be back tomorrow!

I went in the other day and as always my experience was amazing, but Madeline made my lattes for me today. She was SO kind! I had my youngest daughter with me and she was so patient with me while I got everything sorted to carry out. Also, best latte I have ever had!!! The other younger gentleman there too with the longer hair is always in a great mood! Every time I have come in here it has made my day brighter and better!!! Love love love!
