We had not made it back to Eureka Springs for a couple of years when we returned last month to find that Cottage Inn is no longer open for regular dinner service. This place was highly recommended by locals and was our favorite spot for a low key yet upscale fine dining experience in Eureka Springs. Luckily it appears that they still host periodic multi-course wine dinners by reservation only so we may still be able to get our fix if we plan our next Eureka excursion accordingly. If planning a trip to Eureka Springs and Cottage Inn is serving, this is a great stop for a nice dinner with your special someone.

Absolutely delicious! Was reccomended to try this place and so glad we did. We had a flight of wine, salad, goat, the duck and trout and all were delicious!! The dessert we had was great, the meringue with strawberries was so good and it wasn’t too heavy!

The wine dinners are our favorite. Linda pairs the food and wine perfectly. She has traveled the world and brought the best back to Eureka Springs.

Excellent food and great wine list. The roasted duck was SUPERB, and the Tuna Sicilian was great as well (I just don’t love celery). The service and atmosphere were great.

My wife and I have gone to this restaurant for years. It never disappoints. On this night, we were accompanied by family (table of six). They were treated to this comfortable and classy setting with outstanding food. Two of us were vegans, and Chef Linda worked her magic to satisfy their palates. As far as the service, you won’t find a more professional and helpful wait staff (and not just in Eureka Springs). This was the nicest evening I have experienced in a long time. Thank you Cottage Inn!

We felt right at home in this cozy, yet elegant restaurant in Eureka Springs. My husband and I are from Europe and we miss the style and variety of food that we were used to back home. This place was like “little Europe” for us! The service was exceptional and the food was delightful. My husband had the pork loin and I had the duck. Both of them were amazing and so was the dessert! Linda, the chef-owner visited our table and we had a nice chat about her visit to our home country, Hungary. I can’t wait to come again when we will be back to Eureka Springs. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Top notch service and food. The duck and salmon were our selections tonight and both were outstanding. The duck melts in your mouth. Pleasant atmosphere in a small venue (which I love) and very friendly and attentive staff. Of note, we had a baby with us and used our portable baby seat since they didn’t have a high chair available. Not an issue, just requires preparation. Highest recommendation.

I live in Eureka Springs and eat out locally a lot. This is my #1 favorite restaurant. The owner of 25 years is also the chef. The wait staff is always the same and very professional and knowledgable about the food and wine. The atmosphere is perfect for a romantic occasion. You might pass it by if you didn’t know it was there. Trust a local’s recommendation. You won’t be disappointed!

Booked a same-night cottage rental at this quaint, clean, well-kept property, and was intrigued by the menu shown to us by the property manager, Linda Hager, who is also the chef at the on-property restaurant. We decided that we would have dinner at Cottage Inn — and I cannot say enough how delighted we were that we made that decision! The restaurant was elegant and casual at the same time, and the menu was second to none in its variety of offerings. Our waiter was very knowledgable and helpful in his recommendations, and was happy to accommodate our special requests. We selected as our entrees the French country duck and the grilled salmon. Both were absolutely excellent, with the salmon prepared perfectly and the duck succulent and rich in savory flavor. Even though the serving size was very hearty, we were both eager to try the desserts, all made by Chef Linda Hager. We decided on the carrot cake and the chocolate layer cake with chocolate truffle filling. I had reserved most of the cranberry-cherry chutney from the duck, and spooned it over the chocolate cake for an even more decadent burst of flavor. It was the most pleasant dining experience I have had in many years, with the comfortable venue, the attentive waitstaff, and the exceptional cuisine. We are from the Tulsa, OK area, and plan to make the drive to Eureka Springs as often as we can in future, just to have dinner at Cottage Inn Restaurant. Don’t miss it if you are in Eureka Springs — Chef Linda is the best!
