A friend recommended this place to me. I was in the area and decided to give it a try. I was kinda nervous about stopping by due to the fact they were closing in 45 minutes. I thought I might be the only person there. Not at all! They were busy! I ordered the fish tacos, chips, and guacamole. The fish was fried. The breading was light and had a slight crisp. The fish inside was very fresh and tasty. The fresh made tortilla chips were a bit greasy, but had a good flavor. The guacamole was probably some of the freshest I have tasted. I did order the Citrus Lime Fresca to wash it all down. It was freshly made and absolutely delicious. I am so glad I stopped by for a try! I highly recommend!

Having recently travelled to Tulum, Mexico we were craving the flavors and aromas from our travels. Unfortunately, we were also wanting similar prices for fresh seafood (haha) and found 2 shrimp tacos for 15$ was a bit outrageous and they did not taste nearly as fresh as the tacos that lingered in my memory. My boyfriend said the braised pork tacos were “ok”. Overall the pozole verde was a solid 5/5 – flavorful and light, but the price and flavor profiles of the tacos knocked off 2 stars. Kudos to the corn tortillas being made on site.

A real little gem. From the home made tortillas to the zesty citrus salad or the chile guajillo sauce on the tortas, it isn’t formulaic. It all has that extra comfort street food authenticity and tastes a little bit special. And I can’t ever resist the agua fresca of the day.

This review is based on my experience with Saturday brunch. Based on the crowd, it’s obvious this place is a local favorite. They serve Mexican dishes, some more breakfast-y than others, with weekly specials and cocktails. You can see them working their magic in the kitchen while you stand in line. Hands down, I had the best breakfast tacos I’ve ever had here! They don’t do anything over-the-top; they just prepare food skillfully to perfection. As crowded as it was, service was incredibly fast too. I’d definitely recommend Cosecha if you’re anywhere nearby!

I came here today for lunch because I just found out that Consecha is closing at the end of the month. They have a new location opening up soon somewhere else in Oakland. I ordered the roasted yams tacos that came with refried beans. The tacos were small but delicious and they came with picante salsa. The beans might have been sitting for a while because they were all stuck together. As always, the line was crazy long and then the wait to receive food after ordering was long. I probably waited 40 minutes or so from the time I got in line and got my food to go. The sanitizer by the register had run out, but the cashier did wipe down the tablet after every customer. I’m going to try to return before the month’s end at a different time to avoid the wait because the food is definitely delicious.
