I LOVE this place! We came here on Friday about 2 pm for lunch. We were greeted with a welcoming smile as soon as we walked in. Excellent service from Brenda, she is wonderful! We had Grilled Shrimp Skewers on polenta cake (ate before I took a picture), KBC Spinach Salad with tuna, Alfredo Angel Hair pasta with chicken, and the Grilled Salmon. It was all delicious! We also had Creme Brulee, which I enjoyed (my Dad thought it was too sweet for him). Will definitely come back and recommend!

I don’t know how to describe this place. It’s weird. I’ve been here maybe 5 times over the past 6 months. First off, the food is excellent. AMAZING actually. I’ve never had anything that wasn’t perfectly prepared, flavorful, and served the correct temperature. And that’s what really matters in a restaurant, of course.

But the vibe is odd. I can’t put my finger on it. It’s “clique-y”. Every time I come, I walk into an empty restaurant with no host. And it seems I’ve walked in before they opened.

They have lots of private events which are walled off with weird partitions. And they sometimes (according to others I overheard) completely close down for private parties.

I don’t ask for much. I require very little attention. I grossly over tip. And, yet still I feel very unwelcome in this restaurant that I have frequented several times. I don’t get it. The other customers were very nice to me, but the staff seemed annoyed by my presence. It’s bizarre. Anyway, the food alone earns them a top rating. Pro tip: Do NOT sit at the bar. They don’t tell you this: but it’s for the regulars. You’ll feel like you’ve wandered into a party you weren’t invited to.

This is a cute place for happy hour or a family get together. We went to celebrate my birthday and another friend. Three of us in my party.

Two of us had the calamari and had a combo charcuterie board for the table. Our calamari was cold so it was rubbery. We sent it back but seems they just put it back in the fryer which made it harder to eat.

We waited over an hour for our entrees. Two bolognese with different pasta choices and the other had the Romano crusted chicken with gnocchi. The meat in the bolognese was scorched and our bread was also burned on one side. The other side was fine ‍♀️. All the dishes lacked any seasoning other than garnishing herbs. The person I assume was the manager greeted other guests and went to tables in between checking on the kitchen but scoffed in our direction when we sent the dishes back. Our bill was still over $125 and a hefty tip was left even though we had to ask for more wine and check on food. We were hoping this would be a pleasant visit as it’s 9-10 min away from us.

If you’re looking for wine, a nice charcuterie board, or come on a less crowded night it might be worth a try.

The French onion soup was very good. Served traditionally, with nice melted cheese and hot, but not scorching hot. The baguette toast was perfect in the soup, (as opposed to croutons) and the broth was not over salty. The spinach salad with goat cheese strawberries, pecans and a sharp champagne vinagrette was good and fulfilling, even with the smaller portion option. The Olive Oil cake was excellent . Due to being not so hungry, I ordered the tagliatelle and pink alfredo to go. I always enjoy the mix of alfredo and marinara. This did not disappoint, and served with two pieces of garlic bread. There was a tinge of spice in the sauce. It worked for me, even though I have to reduce spice in my diet. It heated up well at home. (I used a pan, not a microwave.) I signed up online to be a “VIP” and for my birthday was offered a free dessert. I ate it there; hence the fullness. I tried the olive oil cake and was completely surprised. (I rarely eat desserts.) The cake was hearty, but the flavor was all cake, along with the strawberries and whipped cream. Overall it was a great experience for my forst time there. I went at lunch, so it was not too busy. Craig, the Proprietor was working the tables. I sat at the bar. He was very accomodating and eager to please. I have read a couple of reviews that were not so good. I know when service is bad, it it ruins the evening. Sometimes, there is a bad night. When possible, I give a place a second try. We all have bad days. I will go back and probably try the prime rib on Monday or just the ribeye, and a an app or two. Oh, the pasta is as fresh as I have had in years.

Visited for the first time on Saturday. Greeted at the door by Craig – the owner. He was so welcoming, friendly and stopped by our table several times to visit and check on us.

The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable.

Pablo -our server was attentive and efficient.

The food was outstanding! The French onion soup and the calamari were so delicious. The tiramisu was creamy and such a beautiful presentation as well.

Such a lovely night out!
We will be back!

This place has good food for a reasonable price. It is mostly an Italian restaurant but they have a wide variety of other options.
I had the pesto noodles, focaccia bread, calamari, and flat bread. All which were wonderful. Service at the table was great though they did mix up our large party reservations so we had to move to a different area.

Copper and Vine is an absolute gem!

The low down: service is great, great wine selection and the food is absolutely delicious! Oh and you can pick your pasta and it’s fresh!!!

We made a reservation for Valentine’s Day and glad we did! The dining room was absolutely full – not packed or overcrowded, mind you.

We’ve only been once before for my birthday and ended up being the only ones there. The quality of everything was just the same on Valentine’s Day as our first visit on an August weekday.

The food was delicious! We split the Shrimp Skewers and a Kale salad (yum goat cheese!), then I ordered Angel Hair Primavera with Shrimp and my wife ordered the Tagliatelle Creamy Pesto with Salmon (which was AMAZING).

For dessert we ordered the Fresh Poached Pear which was just as fun to eat as it was beautiful. Definitely a great lighter faire option.

This is a win for date night or any special occasion. You can guarantee that we will be back!

Copper & Vine is a really nice restaurant that mixes fine dining with a casual experience in the Las Colinas neighborhood. The owner of the restaurant took our order and offered good suggestions. He raved about their Tiramisu and we wanted to try if for dessert.

The starters we tried were well seasoned and flavorful. The pasta bowls come with breadsticks and is perfect for one. The bowls are not shareable but the flavors were excellent. Do try the tiramisu for dessert. It is highly recommended.

Plenty of parking available in the strip mall. The restaurant offers beer, wines and cocktails with a full bar service.

Pricing: Not an inexpensive restaurant but it’s worth the money you pay.

Will I return? : For sure!

Great menu… we focused today on the wine and cheese board (my fav), with an eggplant antipasti. All was superb. Goat cheese, craisin – brie and honey – manchego and more… happiness
Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The owner, Craig, visited as well.

We had a fabulous afternoon and plan to return for a personalized wine pairing. I can’t wait!
