This is a nice little restaurant , tucked away in the middle of smithfield . It’s located about 5 mins off the highway and pretty much near the center of town. The location isn’t the greatest , as it sits near a heavy intersection , and traffic tends to build , but has no effect on what they bring to the table , literally. The inside is very nice , and spacious . I love the detail they put into their craft , down to the paper table cloth with the stamp. They have what looks like 3 areas to the restaurant, but on the same level more or less . The staff were great , especially our server (Diana) , she was awesome. Not only was she professional but she was also very personable. Felt like we were besties by the time we left . The food menu isn’t large by any means , but the menu does change frequently. But what is on the menu as their “ staple “ dishes , are delicious options , and their seasonal specials , are equally as good , if not better. The wings I ordered , may have been the best I’ve had in a long time. Entree’s came out fast , and were delicious in every bite. I was very impressed with the quality of their food, and give sincere compliments to the chef’s . All around a great experience , and we look forward to returning in the very near future!

I remember going here in 2017 when it just opened, the menu was tiny and boring and the atmosphere wasn’t exactly appealing. Now, five years later I event here and the restaurant improved massively. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was incredibly comfortable and welcoming. While the service wasn’t exactly the fastest in the world, the waitress was very friendly and engaging and the whole restaurant smelled amazing. The udon noodles were incredible, with perfectly cooked duck and scrumptious noodles that made me just want to devour the entire bowl. You wouldn’t believe the amount of self control it took to stop myself from eating before I could get a picture of it. Great improvement since 2017 and awesome food, I want to try the brunch menu now to see how good it is!

Made a reservation for 6pm and arrived at 5:55pm. We were seated at the door, my wife asked for a better table and was was told no because of reservation. Within 10min a customer came in and did not have a reservation and was seated at a nice table away from the door. (We could hear everything being said since we was next to the main door) this happen a second time shortly after.

Walked-in for dinner on a Monday night – place was empty but a lot of people came for pick-up orders. The waitress was very nice and attentive. Exceptional appetizers (smoked carrot hummus with warm pita chips was the best!) and the chocolate mousse pie was also amazing! Wish we found this place earlier, will definitely be back!

My family and I really enjoyed our dinner out at this wonderful restaurant in the heart of Greenville. Our table was reserved on-time and was set perfectly. Often the little things are the difference between an average dining experience and a fantastic one. The Cook & Dagger is no exception to this rule. Everything including the table setting, attentive server and goumet cuisine was above par. I had the swordfish, my wife had the salmon and my adult children had the fish tacos. We were all beyond satisfied. The flavour and presentation of the cuisine was tantalizing to our taste buds. Thank you, Ron Ash aka My RV Guy

First time at cook and dagger. Had reservations for 6pm sat. Eve. Seated promptly. Server gian met us immediately at our table and asked if everything was OK. We asked what he would recommend and he gave us a few suggestions. With that my wife and I ordered the croquettes and the wings. Both we to die for best wings I’ve ever had. Very different . Ordered the Statler chicken with fingerling potatoes. Everything was 5 star including our server gian who was both fun and right on with the food. Very different menu and flavors will definitely return my first post of 1 star was a big mistake so sorry some of the tastiest food I’ve had in a while. Will bring friends and family

Very delicious food and cocktails! Had the Tequila Mockingbird and it was SPICY but I loved it! Also had a scallop special that was 100% on point, the wing special was peach and habanero and was amazing, the beer selection is fantastic! Also loved the roasted brussel sprout appetizer, and the fried chicken sandwich was an unexpected sleeper dish that had an outstanding combo of flavors! Service was safe, everything was very clean, and I couldn’t be happier. This was my birthday dinner. Whether you support Trump or not, please understand they have a very “Trump” looking political business with signs next to them and some have thought they were using it as a venue to promote political agendas. They’re two completely separate entities, so no matter how you lean, no worries! High recommend! Pictures of the front of business uploaded for context.

AMAZING!! First time trying this restaurant. The food was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. Our server was Kelsey. From her exceptional service to the gentleman that brought our food being so polite and well mannered; I think we found our new spot!!!! If you are curious about this establishment do not hesitate!!! You will not be disappointed!!

We saw posts on Instagram of this place and have been dying to try it. We went today for the first time and it was amazing!! Portions were a great size! My fiancé loves wings and loved the wings here! They were crispy yet fell off the bones…blue cheese was the best I’ve ever had! We were going to get another app but decided to wait for our meals to gage if we should order more and we made the right choice. I got the burger (Amazing!) and he got the fish and chips. He loved it and his meal was pretty much a whole fish! Portions are more than enough! Only thing I was bummed out about is I’ve been dying to try the chocolate pb trifle and today they didn’t have it, it was a chocolate mint one instead which I don’t love mint so I didn’t get. But this just means we will have to come back soon when the pb trifle is on the menu. Our waitress was great and really friendly!! 20 out of 10! A must try!!
