Stopped in at Controlled Chaos and was seriously impressed. I got the pulled pork platter with fries and baked beans and everything hit the spot. The pork had a great crust and flavor and the fries were hand-cut and perfectly seasoned. The baked beans really stood out. They’re totally different from any I’ve had before. They had almost a creamy texture with a hint of mustard and pulled pork mixed in. Unique and seriously good. Everything was cooked fresh, portions were generous and the owner was super friendly and welcoming. It’s got that classic “local hole-in-the-wall” vibe. Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Great bar b que. Owner was friendly and very busy. Pulled pork was great. Brisket was good. Stew was one of the best I have ever had. I love home cut fries with the skin on. We will come back.

It is great if you are looking for a BBQ that is good. The food is great and I would recommend the BBQ platter sampler if you’re very hungry and for a dessert I would recommend the banana pudding.

This BBQ is unreal. Jacob runs this place by himself and absolutely knocks it out of the park. We had cheeseburgers, brisket, fries, onion rings, fries pickles, potato salad… everything was delicious. The wait was well worth it. Can’t wait to come back and try more. Amazing.

If you are in the area definitely stop here, the owner is an amazing guy and his food is some of the best! The pulled pork was perfect it literally melted in my mouth and the taste was perfect, along with the main course the sides are house made and all of them are very flavorful, I would highly recommend the onion rings they are delicious! Definitely stop in if you are in the area!

Easily the best BBQ in Toccoa!! Call ahead for the best experience for take-out. As of June/ July 2025 they are short-staffed and it shows in the wait time, around 15 mins. Worth the wait though, just as others have mentioned.
I hope the owner can be profitable enough to soon make a change to a better location; we would have never known this restaurant existed had we not searched Google maps specifically for BBQ and we only live 15 mins away. It’s just not a part of town we ever go through.
Still, even with the wait and the out-of-the-way location, it was definitely worth trying! Next time (and there will most certainly be a next time!) we will call ahead with our take-out order.
Just be prepared to bring your patience with you and you will love it!

My uncle and I came here for lunch after a successful day of trout fishing and had a awesome experience. The brisket, onion rings, pulled pork, chicken, and pork ribs was wonderful and flavorful. The customer service was awesome and the atmosphere was friendly. The price is very reasonable because of the portion of the food. I highly recommend this place!!
