Super cute café surrounded by the mountains!
The service was fantastic, food was delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect for small or medium sized family get together!
Definitely worth stopping before hiking into the mountains!!
Edit I’m the type to go back twice if service is good but morning service rushed me out… I wont be going back
If your gonna go during second shift!

Hearty portions. Quick and friendly service. Bland food. Standard cafe/diner fare. Pricy.

The bacon breakfast sandwich was huge! But no spices or salt or pepper was evident in taste. The hash browns were spices and seasoned.

The biscuits and gravy were $18.50. The gravy was thickened flour milk, with no salt or pepper, the blandest gravy I ever had. It did nothing to enhance the flavor of the biscuits. It just made them soggy.

The price for the meal was hefty. Coffee was good. Hot chocolate was delicious.

I consider Conifer a ‘highway’ town,’ catered to those folks passing through on 285.

I was disappointed.

This is the perfect place to go after a weekend of camping. I’ve been going here every time I go camping for the past three years or so and every time it is exactly what I’m looking for.

I most recently had the pumpkin pancakes and they were absolutely fantastic, by far my favorite thing I’ve ever had from here. The Scrambles on the menu are also great. If I had to complain about a couple things, I would say the food is a bit pricey and the coffee creamer is bland. I would feel much better going here frequently if it weren’t so expensive. The coffee creamer is all the generic bulk commercial grade cups which is fine, but given the price of the food here I would really appreciate some more interesting flavors (or really any at all).

Despite these things I continue to come back and enjoy the food/coffee here, this will be my go-to meal after a weekend camping trip until it either becomes too expensive or there is a better alternative.

Absolutely loved the French toast sticks. Perfectly crispy and fluffy, with the right amount of cinnamon. Also loved that they made a little cabin shape out of the sticks.
The biscuits and gravy weren’t bad. Gravy and sausage were good but the biscuits were a little dry and hard. French fries weren’t seasoned, though listen as seasoned fries. But still hot and crispy! The breakfast sandwich on a croissant was fantastic. Great portion sizes and excellent service

The elk sausage and eggs were outrages, not gamie at all. The Mexican skillet was really good and they have half portions. Service was awesome and fast. Highly recommend, this place just become one of my favorite breakfast places.

I’m really struggling to find a place that can satisfy my craving for a really good Biscuits and Gravy breakfast, but alas, this place wasn’t bad. My biggest complaint was that I thought the gravy was lacking sausage (it’s there, barely) and a bit runny. Service made up for it though and my wife enjoyed her breakfast. Would definitely give mm this place another try. Can’t say much for the atmosphere, but at least the restaurant was clean.

I just left this restaurant extremely disappointed. My husband and I went in for breakfast. It wasn’t busy being later in the morning. We waited for an hour for our food. My omelet was simple, spinach and mushrooms. I specifically asked for no cheese being lactose intolerant. People who had come in after us, at least 3 tables received their food before us. When we finally got our breakfast, my omelet was lukewarm and had cheese in it. Couldn’t believe it. Left committing not to return. We need better restaurants that understand customer service in Conifer.

Absolutely love the conifer Cafe. Today I got to take my son and granddaughter and wife up there for my birthday. Everybody had something different. Service was excellent, my granddaughter always has the chocolate chip pancakes with grapes for eyes and a whipped cream 🙂

We love this place! Today we had the Mt. Falcon meatloaf and Huevos Rancheros. Both were fantastic. The portions were huge and well prepared. Our server, Alissa, was one of the most friendly, professional servers we have seen in a long time. She was really on top of it. We love to come here whenever we drive through Conifer.
