The food was ok. Bathrooms clean. But they charged me for chips and salsa. Only Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life that is authentic that charges for chips and salsa . I won’t go back for this reason alone . I’ll go to any other Mexican restaurant but this one .

When this place first opened it was good food fast. After today’s visit I can honestly say I won’t be back. They’ve turned into a Chipotle style business and no longer have half the items they used to serve. No Spanish rice only white, the veggies, Pico, and salsa were all very bitter or without seasoning and the prices are a bit much. But hey jarritos soda was good.

Absolutely awful. 10 out of 10 I do not recommend. Overly expensive. 3 tacos were 11 dollars. I miss the old compadres expressed. My food was cold, cheese was clumpy, the Pico was sour. I feel like I would’ve been better off eating Mcdonnalds. Don’t go here

I went to Compadre’s Express craving a delicious chicken quesadilla. First I was disgusted by one of the employees smoking right outside the back door and basically wafting the smoke into the restaurant. Second, to my surprise, they informed me that their food order had not yet come in and that they did not have any cheese. Nothing. No shredded or queso. As you can guess I was extremely disappointed. I decided to stay and get something else. I got the 3 ground beef tacos, without cheese or sour cream. I also got the Spanish rice that comes with it and that wasn’t even remotely hot. Then when I went to pay, I thought for sure they would have discounted my food or at least given me a coupon for the next time I came in. Nothing. Just a “sorry”. What I didn’t understand was that the real Compadre’s is literally 10 miles up the road. No one could bring them some cheese?? Was it really that far?? Needless to say, I will not be returning any time soon and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to go there as well.
