This place is just too busy and unorganized. The food is okay at best and way, way overpriced. Service was painfully slow! They ran out of forks, straws and napkins, the lights went out for about 15 minutes, and the pizza was cold and hard as a rock (but we didn’t want to wait another hour for a replacement). The quesadilla wasn’t good, and the nachos were meh — the meat was cold and not fresh. Cocktails were okay but small for the price. Everything was served on paper plates too! Prices don’t match the service!

Everything was expensive and underwhelming. Even the bar stools were uncomfortable, wobbly, and hard. Clearly, they’re making plenty of money, but it feels very understaffed. If you go, be prepared to practice a lot of patience — and to pay premium prices for a subpar experience.

We wanted a little escape from the city, so we headed out to Oak Glen — and honestly, we were pleasantly surprised by how much there is to do! You can go apple picking, grab some BBQ, explore a beautiful nature preserve trail, and hang out at the Oak Tree Mountain area, which is where we found Common Ground Public House.

It’s more than just a restaurant — it’s like a mini city you can walk around! They have tons of cute vendors, a bakery that smells amazing (see pics for treats), and even axe throwing on weekends if you’re feeling adventurous.

We grabbed food here and had the best pizza ever — the Hot Honey Pepperoni. It was my first time trying it and I’m officially obsessed. They also have a full bar and beers on tap. As an IPA lover, I was excited they had three different IPAs to choose from — such a win!

There’s indoor and outdoor seating depending on your vibe. And one of the best parts about stopping here was building up the courage to finally try the mountain slide! You can sit at the viewing area to watch people fly down or walk over after you eat.

It’s actually the longest mountain slide in America, and it was SO much fun! I even made a TikTok of my journey down and it went viral check it out at @guppy.jpg!

Highly recommend spending a whole afternoon here — it’s the perfect mix of great food, drinks, fun activities, and gorgeous views.

Wish I could give this place no stars. Skip this spot!!!! It’s mountain town pizza now & we went in for pizza and beers just like all the other customers & just so they didn’t have a single other race seated in their establishment they sent over a server as soon as we seated to order the server just kept responding they are out of that item on the menu didn’t matter what we wanted they were out of it. The whole place was packed and other tables getting fresh food and things the server claimed to be out of in the kitchen was being served to everyone else just fine. We left!! the restaurant across the street got our service & tips and even shared a birthday cake we brought in with the servers which was honestly way better treatment and food and everything just across the street from this place

I’ve visited this restaurant twice, only had their pizza which is very delicious. However, on both occasions the service has been very disappointing, although my party and I were quickly seated we waited a very long time just for our drinks to arrive. After placing an order for a pizza we waited for what felt like 45 mins just to be told by our server that unfortunately they were all out of pizza dough. On both occasions I have received excuses about them being short staffed. We left hungry and walked past what looked like the kitchen area of the restaurant where we saw pizzas being actively being made. Don’t normally like to jump to conclusions but we did leave feeling a bit discriminated. Will not be visiting again.

Great place…a bit small but cute… They have outdoor seating also. The staff were very friendly and attentive. They have some specialty drinks which include fresh pressed apple cider from the store in the village. They have a full bar and small menu but something for everyone. When we went on a Saturday they had music from 1 guy..had a great voice. Drinks are about $13-$14…for specialty ones

While the pizza I got there was fine (not sure if of Sysco origin or locally made, but definitely edible though very generic), the service is what I remember the most. Maître d’ was working with headphones in their ears, clearly unfocused and confused, forgetting about waiting parties and mixing up seating preferences. Then after getting seated no one came to take our order for over 15 minutes. The weird part is that they kept saying that it’s busy and they’re short staffed, but there were actually almost as many guests as waiters and the place felt 1/3 full at most. Whoever is managing this joint needs some introspection.

Overall disappointing but could improve with time; rating is really an incomplete. Entered at 4:30 and was told the kitchen just closed and last call for beverages. Indicated close time is 7pm. Beer taps were not available (told they maybe online Labor Day). Beer selection looks bland (Chili’s-like). Got a can of Mind Haze 12oz @ $8, absurd. Typical craft can at 16oz 6 to 9 bucks less crazy stouts. The place looked good and clean. Guy behind the bar was great, friendly. Will update after actually being able to get food…

I hardly ever post a negative review but unfortunately we did not have a good time. Our main problem was that we were offered outside seating which we were okay with but we were attacked by bee’s instead of being brought inside we were moved to a different outside table. Not to mention they gave us the wrong pizza..servers seemed lost and limited. The pizza was good when we got it but everything else was not the move.

The restaurant is located right next to the slides. It was very convenient as we got to play and eat at the same time. They have some toys to keep the kids entertained since our food took quite a long time to serve. The food and service were decent. The Margherita pizza with pepperoni was the best one I have had although I don’t like pepperoni at all.
