I got a chicken cutlet with home fries, chicken raw, plus all the staff members were talking in another language about customer . The owner has to be more alert what is going on in this place, stop talking about customers behind the counter , make sure the food has to be cooked well,.. just saying I am still seating here about 30 minutes and still talking making a comment and their language , and I do understand their language..

This place is HIGHLY racist. Even though some of the employees are not even white they’re so racist. I ordered a simple BEC bagel 15mins prior to me getting there, I was first in line for pick up and I could clearly see my order with my name on it already packed and ready behind the counter and they literally skipped me and asked the person behind me what their order was. They kept taking the person behind me, blatantly ignoring me for about 10mins while I just stood there; waiting patiently. After about 15mins of waiting for an order that was already ready, someone finally asked me what I was there for AFTER ALL THE WHITE PEOPLE IN LINE BEHIND ME WAS GONE. They waited until I was the last one in the store to let me pay for my food. My entire lunch break was wasted and I unfortunately had to go back to work literally starving. Oh, and when I got back to work and told my coworkers they weren’t surprised in the slightest, about 4 of my coworkers experienced racism at this restaurant. I will never eat here again.

I have been coming here since they opened in the early eighties. Hell, I even worked here when I was 16 years old.I am pretty sure I just ate my last bagel from this establishment. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, a slice of onion and a slice of tomato.They charged me $8.95. Plus a 3% debit card fee. Over $9 for a cream Cheese bagel is insane. This very combination cost $4 & change only 2 years ago. I am so tired of these greedy business owners saying “everything is going up”.It’s 10% inflation with 100% raise in prices.I’m sick of it and I will not visit this establishment again. Greedy owners!

I have been coming here for years, but today was the last time. They have no idea how to manage their employees. Lines build up and there is only one person doing bagels. There had to be 7 other employees just wandering around. The jalapeno bagel tasted like it was a day old, and only a hint of jalapeno in it. Sad that the place has fallen apart.

I called to place a pickup order and everything seemed to be fine. I ordered an egg everything bagel with cream cheese and asked for it to be toasted. When I get there my bagel is ready and when i opened it, there was 90% cream cheese and 10% bagel. The bagel was so chewy, it was honestly unappetizing. As i went to take a bite, all the cream cheese would fall out. I love bagels in the morning and decided to give this place a try but I have come out extremely disappointed. Never come back again.

Had to change my rating. Recently visited family again and ordered dozen bagels. Very different bagels than what I was used to from this business. Bagels went from a soft, but meaty-chewy texture to what tasted like not so great bread. A huge disappointment, especially after paying $26 for a dozen bagels and a small container of scallion cream cheese. Not sure what has changed…Unfortunately cannot recommended anymore.

If i could give a one star i would. This is the third time they’ve messed up our breakfast order. They forgot the side of sausage, and gave the wrong bagel. They told us to come back in and they’ll fix it. When we did, they forgot another item on the omelet. When we tried to leave they tried to charge us again! So youre going to charge us double for the one order? After you told us to come back in and get everything fixed? Never coming back again. No one there knows what theyre doing.

I grew up in queens so I’m pretty picky about my bagels, with that said this place has become my go to bagel place on the south shore! If you can get there early, the bagels are fresh and don’t need to be toasted which we love over here! There’s a nice selection of varieties of bagels and spreads, and they do have a decent breakfast/deli menu with pastries and snacks available. And of course coffee ! I never wait more than a few minutes to order and receive my order, even when it’s busy….a it does get busy. Let’s not forget the staff is always warm and prices are right! Highly recommend this place.
