I came all the way up from Houston, TX to experience a proper New York Bagel an I was not let down at all! The hospitality the staff showed me was phenomenal and they were so patient with me when I mentioned it was my first time. They even left me with a gift as a thank you for the visit!
Everything may be bigger in Texas, but at Bagel Boss East, they got the Lone Star State BEAT!

Love the bagels but when you ask for cream cheese and pay 6 dollars, I expect cream cheese. Some people do well, and add cream cheese. If you get a youngster making one, good luck.

Wow! As someone coming from Europe, this is what I’d truly call a deli. They offer an impressive variety of bagels, along with a fantastic selection of salads, cheeses, and cold meats to pair them with. I tried a bagel with egg salad, and it was absolutely delicious.
The prices are surprisingly competitive for the New York area, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the service was noticeably slow, and it seems they have a reputation for being that way.
If you’re not in a rush, this place is definitely worth a visit for its excellent food!

I’m done BB. IM DONE! I’ve been singing your praises for decades. Taken your bagels around the world and told people THIS is what a NY bagel should be. But I’ve had it, only get to come to LI once a year now and can’t waste it on you anymore. 4 days in a row you put little to no cream cheese on bagels. This isn’t one person, it’s a whole staff wide directive and today was the worst. 4 bagels cost over 20$ and this is the amount of cream cheese you put on each bagel?!?! You’re robbing people, it’s theft to do this. Scraped the cream cheese off one half and it was almost a tablespoon. What the heck happened to you guys, so disappointed you resorted to doing this to make money. If it was one person whatever stuff happens, but this has been going on since COVID times. Every year it’s less and less. This year 4 different staff doing this amount? Ain’t no accident, you’re ok charging 5$ plus for this. Gotta get called out.

They have every kind of bagel you can think of. They even have the multicolored bagel, which my family doesn’t like but I’m sure there are kids that like that. They also have flagels, which are flat bagels. The staff if helpful.

I bought a bagel from this shop and it was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the difference because they make their bagels in a brick oven. It’s clear they take pride in their baking process, and the quality shows in every bite, this place is definitely worth trying. I’ll be coming back for more!

Just left this location. Asked for a toasted bagel with butter. Handled cash with gloves on twice while it toasted and then made my bagel. Asked me twice what I was getting after I ordered it and I still got cream cheese. I feel like I’m being pranked.
Time to find a new bagel place. This is the second time I’ve seen them handle cash and not change gloves

I’m really disappointed with my recent order from Bagel Boss. I ordered the original Boss sandwich and specifically asked for no peppers, but they still left out other key ingredients. Then, the second sandwich I got barely had any meat or cheese – it was so skimpy! I spent $30 for two sandwiches, and after waiting 20 minutes, I expected a lot more. This place used to be good, but it’s clearly gone downhill. I feel totally ripped off and won’t be coming back.
