I had the salmon. Sorry to say it was my third attempt, and it was dry and hard again . Other foods I’ve had from them were generally good, but for some reason, the salmon never right . Sorry guys, but when I realized the last time I was going to go back to you but you had already closed and rolled out down that street . Other dishes were pretty good . And plantains I was given were actually plantain chips, not what I expected .

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker. They have a pork chop plate that is unbelievable. Good for 2 people. Lots of food. This is the number 1 go-to plate here, I think. Delicious flavor and lots of food. The pork chop is big and almost 1″ thick. Lots of rice and mashed potatoes. Pork chop has great flavor, taste like it is marinated and really soft. Nothing else needed to eat it. The yellow rice has a really good flavor to it and has chicken and meat in it. The mashed potatoes also have a good taste, I was surprised. They have a really good chicharon here also. Sliced for you to eat. Make sure you get the yuca with it. This place is a hidden jem. Highly recommended!

As authentic as it gets! I was visiting Odessa Texas and a Google search Liat of restaurants include this one under the label of “Cuban Food”. I navigated there and found it was a food truck. This is a big, beautiful and clean food truck. These folks are from Miami. They still have their Miami, 786 are code phone number!
I conversed with them and found out that they drove up from Miami 5 years ago and have stayed ever since. They live the area and now call it home. Serving food for all the workers in this Permian Basin area has turned to a labor of love.
The food was amazing. Fricase de Res (beef), congris, platanitos maduro. They even had freshly cooked chicharones. And the taste as authentic as it gets. A real taste of home in rural west Texas! Don’t miss it!

LOVE THIS PLACE! This is my comfort food right here. The rice is always delicious. The plantains are always fresh and yummy. I typically get either the carnitas or the chicken. I love there food. Def recommend.
