Bartender said this was the place for the best fajitas in town. I haven’t tried anywhere else but I took his word for it and was not disappointed. I came on two occasions the week I stayed here and the staff was overall friendly and attentive. Warning about the burgers, don’t let your eyes order the two patties if your stomach can’t handle it. I ended up taking half of this monster burger back with me. It was really good but really big. Overall great food and great environment of people.

If you are a local this place is probably great. However, as a non local sitting at the bar it was clear my business wasn’t really wanted. Bartender spent the whole time catering to his buddies at the bar and playing on his phone. I shouldn’t have to beg to order food and drinks. My money spends just the same as the locals ♂️

After a long day on the frac, visiting this establishment for a couple drinks and a meal definitely made me feel better. The whiskey sours were made just how I like them. The bar staff were friendly and prompt. For my meal I had the surf and turf which starts off with a salad. The salad was really good. As for the my entree the ribeye steak was grilled perfectly to my liking. The grilled shrimp was also tasty and the sautéed veggies complimented the steak really well. The atmosphere here is nice with plenty of big tv’s to watch games and such. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or traveling through Gonzales. I’ll definitely be back!

Drove 2 hours to meet friends for lunch. What a pleasant surprise. Right on the Square, great atmosphere and service. Food was exceptional. I believe it is the new meeting place.

My husband and I both ordered a hamburger and could not finish it due to the taste. The meat was frozen and so tightly packed it lost all its juice. The seasoning they put on the burger was funky and this will go down as one of the worst hamburgers we have tried. On the bright side of things, the staff was amazing and super friendly. Would come back for drinks but don’t go looking for a good meal.

The food was ok. The service was better. Atmosphere was a local hangout for the towns people to get their drink on, at least the evening we went, that was the vibe. They do have plenty of TV’s with various sports going so that is a big plus for us.

We frequently go to Gonzales for all sorts of reasons, but this was the first time we’ve eaten there and we chose this place. There were five of us, and the place had plenty of open tables but wasn’t quite empty. It is very much a restaurant with a bar and carries that atmosphere. The tea is really good (I was driving), not too sweet, and the lemon pepper wings that came with the sampler were probably the best wings I’ve had in a long time and the corn nuggets were awesome. Service was pretty slow, I think that was due to the kitchen, though. However, the burger I ordered tasted funny, so I didn’t finish it and instead ate some pizza my wife ordered, and it was pretty good. Price was fair for five people (under 100), and I’d probably go back again, but I would just stick to wings.

Took my Wife and Mother out Sunday and stopped for lunch. The food was very good and the service was top notch! We had the Come and take it burger, the Portabella mushroom burger and the Margarita pizza. All very good and well worth the stop!
