This is one of my favorite diner to visit. The food is delicious, the staff is very polite and the atmosphere is great. I have never had a bad experience since I have been going there. I love going with the whole family or at times with just me and my husband. Either is always a great time.
The place is a good size restaurant, intimate and cozy. The have have a good amount of parking available. I highly recommend this place.

Susana was my waitress here today. I ordered the steak & eggs w/side of French toast & bacon. Exactly what I ordered they got all right. This place is right across from Dunkin’ but I love the space & atmosphere here. It’s clean the staff is pleasant & the food is tasty. Don’t miss this gem!

4/16/25 1030 am — I am a diner hopper. This was my first visit to Columbus Diner. Thank you for the Southern Hospitality and Greek Charm. We had the Salisbury Steak special. Every thing was prepared fresh and portions are plentiful. We had enough for brunch and Dinner. Specifically loved the spinach, creamed corn soup, minestrone soup, mixed veggies, garlic bread, and little soft pillows of Salisbury steaks. We took home our chocolate cake and lemon meringue pie. Did I mention the coffee was perfect?! Definitely plan on a second visit to try their pancakes. Recommend for small and large groups, family atmosphere and handicapped friendly. Thank you for the good first impression from this family owned diner.

We came to New York on a short trip and were excited to try a local diner, since we love exploring these spots when we travel. We found Columbus Diner on Google Maps and the photos looked delicious, but sadly, the food didn’t live up to it. We ordered omelettes, bacon, home fries, and coffee — everything tasted a bit too plain. The only thing I really enjoyed was the cortado. My two friends felt the same way about their meals. The highlight of our visit was the service — our waitress was kind, fast, and very attentive. Great service, but the food missed the mark.

I ordered something very simple. A bacon Cheeseburger with well done crispy fries and a side of Pork Sausage patties with extra pickles. I bit the cheeseburger and it was delicious but my fries were Luke warm, blonde and limp. I sent back the food hopefully waiting to get crispy well done fries. The food came back out again in a couple of mins and the fries were even more blonde and limp than the first plate. I sent it back again and was told by my server that she would make sure that the manager would make sure it came out perfect. Then the server made an excuse for the cook in the kitchen saying he is rushing to go home. The last and fourth tine my food came out the cook only put out 20 or so fries on the plate. I love to eat here atleast once a week. This has been the most disappointing experience here. And the fact the manager was suppose to make sure my food came out perfect and he ok to send out 20 fries on a plate is insulting. It looks like the manager was sitting in front of the kitchen and didn’t seem to care. Waited almost an hour for a cook to make fries crispy. I just walked out. Server tried to make the situation ok but the cook and manager did not care. Thanks guys.

The host was very pleasant but It took a little time for us to be seated. The server was equally pleasant and took the order timely. The food was good. Very good. It’s a great place for a Sunday brunch. Oh, I had coffee and water, not sure what the drink options are.

Want a brunch spot where you can actually have a conversation??? Columbus Dine offers just that, with super friendly staff, superb service and a finger licking menu. Their sign says the best prices around and they mean every word. My husband and I go all the time and whether we have breakfast or dinner our bill is normally about $46. That’s $23 dollars a person and you leave with a full belly and leftovers.
The music, prepare to be dancing and eating pancakes at the same time. They don’t have a DJ but the lady there sure know a great variety, from oldies but goodies, to late 80′ 90′ and present.
They refuse to give me the coffee recipe but hey, it keeps me coming back!!!!

A True Old-School Gem!
Columbus Diner is one of those rare spots that takes you back in time the second you walk through the door. It’s the kind of old-school diner that’s getting harder and harder to find — classic booths, a long counter with spinning stools, and that warm, inviting smell of fresh coffee and sizzling bacon in the air.
The menu is huge (as any real diner’s should be), offering everything from hearty breakfasts to stacked sandwiches and comforting dinner plates. Whether you’re in the mood for fluffy pancakes, a juicy burger, or a homemade meatloaf, you can’t go wrong here. Everything is cooked just right, portions are generous, and the prices are more than fair.
What really makes Columbus Diner stand out, though, is the vibe. It’s got that neighborhood charm — the waitstaff is friendly, quick with a smile, and they remember the regulars. There’s something comforting about a place where the coffee’s always hot, the jukebox still works, and you feel like you’re part of the family.
If you appreciate a no-frills, authentic diner experience with great food and a laid-back atmosphere, Columbus Diner hits the mark. It’s a local treasure that keeps the old-school spirit alive. Highly recommend!
