I really like this place! This was our second visit. The first time we sat outside which was awesome, but now it’s too cold for that. The bread and butter they served before dinner was fantastic! We got the filet mignon and ribeye with added mushrooms. They were both delicious but I wouldn’t get the ribeye again. The filet had much better flavor and texture. For dessert we got the English tea cake and omg it’s one of the best desserts ever! It was sooo good and a little too small for two people so we ordered a second one. I wish they would make a bigger version with a scoop of ice cream. All in all it was a great visit and I highly recommend checking them out.

So today my Mom asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I told her lunch @ Coldwater Cafe. She granted my wish and we made our way out there. As we walked in we saw the new winter decorations, a young host, and a beautiful bar. It was very clean. We were sat fairly quickly and were told about the soup/ specials of the day. Madison was our server for lunch and she made my birthday meal so SPECIAL. She was kind, funny, and always present. We tried the Thai coconut chicken soup and I ordered the coldwater burger My mom also tried the espresso martini & enjoyed it. I had a great time and will be back again soon.

Everything we had was absolutely amazing. The brussels sprouts appetizer, green curry, crab cakes – were all delicious! Lots of history there and cool pictures to look at. We were seated in the vault area but the main dining area and the entrance was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Cannot wait to go back!

Our family dined at Coldwater Cafe last night in the Boardroom and we had a lovely evening! We’ve been here many times over the years and it never disappoints. From the spectacular food and drinks to the wonderful service, it was perfect. The privacy of the room gave us the opportunity to talk and laugh and have a great time. Looking forward to many more amazing evenings at Coldwater Cafe!

Absolutely adorable little restaurant in downtown Tipp City! Some friends and I were passing through and decided to stop at the Coldwater Cafe on a whim. The service was warm and friendly and the food was wonderful! I had the fried green tomato grilled cheese with house-made chips for $17. My friends tried the house special and the chicken salad sandwich. Everything was fantastic! We’ve already discussed another trip because we were all too stuffed to try any of the amazing sounding desserts. Atmosphere was a little upscale, so I’m not sure young children would enjoy the Cafe, but adults definitely will. Gluten-free and vegetarian options were available. Highly recommend!

My husband and I dined here for dinner on New Year’s Eve. His steak was cooked perfectly, and he really enjoyed his meal. Unfortunately, my filet was completely overcooked. The bottom and sides were inedible, and I was only able to eat a few bites from the center. It was so dry and tough that I could barely cut it. My husband even apologized for suggesting we try this restaurant.
I believe the restaurant would have made it right if I had mentioned it, but earlier in the evening they had forgotten my husband’s wedge salad, which we had already addressed. While they did make up for the missing salad, I didn’t feel comfortable raising another issue at that point.
Because of the overall experience, I’m giving 2 stars. I’m disappointed, as my husband loved his food, but this experience has made me hesitant to return.

Whether it’s for lunch or dinner, it’s always a delightful experience! Excellent, chef made food – delicious and beautifully presented. Reservations are recommended for dinner!
