We have been wanting to try Colbie’s since it opened. Today was the day finally. We ordered the 8 original tenders to share, upgraded it to a combo (medium drink and medium fries) for $4.50 so with the 8 tenders it was $17.45. Then we added an additional medium drink for $3.99. Sadly when you order the 3, 5 or 8 piece tenders they only come with ONE dipping sauce. My husband used his entire dipping sauce on his 4 tenders. They should include at least 2 sauces for the 5 piece and 3 dipping sauces for the 8 piece. Sadly they charged us 50 cents a piece for extra dipping sauces. I felt nickel and dimed by this cheapness. I did say forget the second sauce but he included it any way for the extra charge (I found out when I looked at my receipt). I thought he was being nice but not the case. We ordered the Nashville Hot Sauce and the Southern BBQ Sauce. Both were tasty.

Deliciously thick and juicy chicken breasts in the sandwiches! I had the big piece sandwich with their crinkle cut fries and they’re salted to perfection! Added bourbon bbq sauce on the side and it was also an amazing add, can’t wait to try their other sauces. Also an amazing touch is the drinks coming with ice chips. All around surprisingly great and clean chicken restaurant. Definitely better than chick fil a so you should treat yourself to this!

My band got Colbie’s chicken delivered to us before a gig in Mt. Holly. Delivery was timely and came within the promised time frame, food was great, and the sauces were A-MAZING! My only small criticism were that the chicken tenders in my chicken and waffles platter were a bit over fried and a little tough to chew – but it was a Saturday night in the summer, and ours was a fairly big order, so no biggie. Food was very tasty. Can’t wait to go eat there in person.

Won’t be coming back. It is absolutely ridiculous how we were given a tiny piece of chicken on oversized buns for $15 meal. Imagine your typical Italian-American chicken breast pulverized into a piece of paper, and then coated in half an inch of breading. That is what this chicken sandwich is – except worse because then you end up eating a thin slice of chicken covered in breading in between giant breads. Also keep in mind that the thin chicken is not even close to being the size of the bun. Be prepared to take a bite of bread all around the edges until you get to the breading of the chicken, before you may get a bite of chicken. You’re probably getting 80% bread in this sandwich. This is incomparable to the typical sandwich at Chick-fil-A and the crispy chicken sandwich at McDonald’s, both of which are significantly cheaper and better value than Colbie’s.

Worth trying yourself! I stopped by after passing this sonmany times. I even saw someone do a review on TikTok. Don’t listen to the negative reviews below and judge for yourself. I enjoyed my meal, the atmosphere and kind employees. There’s lots of space and SO MANY menu items to choose from. I had the Big Piece sandwich, sweet potato fried (covered in cinamon sugar) and naked nuggets with their buffalo sauce. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the naked nuggets which were not fresh, rubbery and dry. The sandwich was delivious as well as the sweet potato fries. Highly recommend trying for yourself.

From the minute we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and hellos. The staff was amazing. Everything was super clean as well. Food was yummy and the owner even brought us over some cheese curds to try. I will definitely be back and suggested for a location closer to my house

This establishment has a friendly staff that offers a nice discount to military personnel. They also cycle through different meals on their menu, updating in every now and again to spice up the experience. Inexpensive and good food, milkshakes, and more. The food was also made very quickly and without issue. Great for a quick bite, lots of spread out seating and outdoor arrangements.
