Spent a few days again on the shore and of course Cohens Bagels is a must stop. We have been coming here periodically since they first opened. Bagels are delicious and the place is very comfortable. Seating inside and out. Lots of parking.

Funny enough this was my first experience with Cohen’s Bagel this past week and I’m sorry I waited. The place was really busy but it didn’t affect the quality or the taste of the coffee or bagels. You will probably have to wait a small amount of time for your food but it’s well worth it. The eat in area is large enough to enjoy your food without sitting right on top of one another.

So I strolled in after church on a Sunday with my fiance because she wanted a bagel. Quick Google search led me here. Thank God it did because everything on this menu is AMAZING. The “cardinal” sandwich was 5/5 AMAZING and my fiance had their regular plain bagel with cream cheese and this place is AWESOME. If you are ever in Middletown CT I highly recommend this place.

As a New Yorker, I can say definitely best bagels in the area and even better than some of the New York bagels. I come often and every time i buy bagels (different kinds) they are very good. Everyone in my family loves it.
However, it would be nice that there is an option for healthy whole wheat bagels (without added sugar) for those who can’t eat regular bagels.
Also, Few other things:
Smoothies- are not made on premises and personnel don’t know if they made out of fresh fruit without added sugar. For that reason I couldn’t buy it.
Order pick up- after ordering you have to wait inside to hear your name called. If you sit outside you can’t hear it. Hope that improves.

I went again on Sunday and it was very chaotic. Not enough bagels, the stuff that takes orders disorganized, the stuff for pick up doesn’t say name or order number or fills the order correctly, pick up receipts were blurry and difficult to see the name. Long lines.
Would not recommend going on Sundays.

A nice place for brunch or breakfast in the morning. Their staff and setting are excellent. Their bagel, however, was not so good. I tried their everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese but it wasn’t particularly soft and chewy. Also, their standard black coffee has a warm water flavor.

reat bagels, always delicious. I don’t come very often, maybe twice a month. Today we first chose the sun-dried tomato bagel, and when the employee went to place the order, she seemed upset about something and said something to another lady, but we couldn’t understand what it was. Then she came back to us and said that they didn’t have that type of bagel.
They weren’t very friendly, and we just wanted to register this small discomfort from our experience.
The quality here is excellent, and we will definitely come back

Excellent little shop to stop for bagels! We stopped in for breakfast and got the avocado smash with bacon on the jalapeño cheddar bagel along with the cinnamon crunch bagel with maple raisin cream cheese. Both were excellent! Lots of options to choose from.

Today was our first and last experience at Cohen’s Bagels. My husband and I each ordered an Avocado BLT on toasted bread. For the whopping price tag of $33, we expected these to be the best BLT’s we’ve ever had. Boy, were we sadly mistaken. The sandwiches were practically avocado and mayo sandwiches, with little to no bacon in sight. The bread wasn’t toasted, the avocado wasn’t mashed, and overall the sandwich was incredibly underwhelming. Feeling unsatisfied and like we wasted our money. Either adjust your prices or improve the quality of your food.

Got a bacon egg and cheese. Good quantity of food for the price. I can’t argue that and it’s all freshly made there. I personally found my breakfast sandwich very mediocre and an only a step up from fast food. Maybe it’s just the time and day I went but I did go during breakfast on the weekend and they were a little packed but pretty well stocked. Might just skip next time
