They have the best hot chocolate ive ever had! The older gentleman that fixed my hot chocolate was the sweetest man ive ever encountered.
I highly recommend this place.

I saw the reviews and thought -This is a place that I’ve got to see for morbid curiosity. Well, I came away with such a different experience. The owners were pleasant and helpful. The shop was stocked with items that reminded me of simpler times. I came out with a bag of souvenirs and a feeling of appreciation for those that take the time to honor their heritage (store has proudly been in the family for generations). Cheers!

The coffee break collectible’s shop is packed with items/antiques from years forgotten. There is something for everyone in this little shop. It is located in the walking area of old town Dahlonega Ga , step back in time and pay them a visit and enjoy a cup of hot cider.(this is not a restaurant )

Talk about a step back in time …. Treasured memories of a time lost AND if you’re looking for a unique Christmas ornament THIS IS YOUR PLACE! The owners are polite and very knowledgable of the items within the shop. It’s unlike anything you’ve experienced.

My husband and I enjoyed visiting! We were greeted kindly and nicely, bought a cute ornament and a cup of coffee. Nice experience, lots of unique items in there. Coffee was fine.

A maximalist vintage and antique wonderland. A completely charming oddity that sells coffee, hot chocolate, and tchotchkes. Staff was friendly and helpful.

After reading the reviews, I was flummoxed and I finally decided to go see for myself. I had a lovely time. My coffee was fine, and it was enjoyable talking with the old lady’s son. I hung out with him a few minutes and then when I left I said bye, and she said, Bye, hun. I liked her. I thought she was fine, maybe a little shy. I liked supporting their little business, and if it’s so important to them that you buy a coffee, then buy one! What’s the big deal.

My fiance and I went up to counter to see menu while waiting for the rest of our family. We didn’t see them so we started towards the door and a man I believe who owns the store says to I believe his wife “people are so impatient!”. I then told my family what he said and we decided not to give them our business. As I left I made sure I told him I heard him. He then kept saying Starbucks is around the corner. Very rude and I will spread the word.

Lynn and I visited coffee break and had a great cup of fresh brewed coffee. It is definitely a very unique and unusual place. I would recommend stopping in whenever you’re in Dahlonega. We found some wonderful gifts that are one of a kind, we love them. Jeff was very helpful and friendly. Mom sure would’ve loved the place, God rest her soul.

Me and my fiance came to this beautiful town as a little day trip. Literally every store in this town square sells hot chocolate and coffee. We had already been walking down the street with a latte. We tried walking into this store despite the doors not opening fully from so many items packed inside this store. How it passes any fire code is surprising to me. We finally made it inside after helping a poor lady with a stroller trying to exit in a hurry. I understood why she was in a hurry once we got inside. The man at the counter in the back of the store yelled we can’t bring someone else’s coffee into their coffee shop. The store says antiques on the outside with a small sign that says “coffee break.” My fiance responded with “none of this shit is for sale?” A woman responded that it’s all for sale, but they have to make money! I told her we buy an ornament at every location we visit, but they wouldn’t get our business. We walked out and she followed behind us telling us we must forgive her son because he had Parkinson’s and she has cancer. I’m truly sorry if that’s true, but it’s time to pack up shop if this business isn’t bringing you joy. Seriously a dark blemish on such a beautidul small town at Christmas.
