I was a bit hesitant since I read some unappetizing reviews but remembered everyone has different taste buds and expectations that may be too high due to upbringings……During my wife and my 20 year anniversary week we chose to spend at a resort, this was one of the restaurants I chose to have a nice night out to with my Valkyrie. She had a clam pasta dish that wasn’t on the menu but the wonderful waitress we had made it happen. She complimented it with (2) Pillow Jets drinks (which ordering 2 means she loved it). I had the NY Strip, rare, along with a Guinness and I’ve got to say it was as good as Odin himself would expect at one of his grand feasts. It was seared just right and I think the only steak I’ve eaten and enjoyed without any more seasoning or sauce. There was a thick type of sauce I used with the fries and it was a taste I’ve never tasted before…..and it was outstanding. The attentiveness of our waitress was comfortable and friendly while not being overbearing. I can’t remember her name but I remember her mentioning she was experiencing her first winter here after moving from Wisconsin and had attended the university there. She was very classy, calm and not too personal as some try to be. The setting was very calm, quiet and limited to mature couples or small groups in this reservation requiring area with just some interruptions from the bar just 20 feet around the corner where a summer Santa Clause looking fellow was trying to score with another who reminded me of Phyllis from The Office. The fireplace in the middle was beautifully placed inside a mantel of cabinets with interesting pieces being displayed giving it a victorian appearance. Only two gripes …..they only had beer/wine/cocktails but no mead! Ya gotta have mead! The other miniscule issue was the steak knife provided wasn’t very sharp, causing me to shake the table a bit to cut the steak. All in all, this would be a fabulous place for many important events in a person’s Iife or to visit while vacationing in the great Teton Valley.

We were seated not long before close and ended up being the last table left in the restaurant but never felt rushed and the service was great the entire time. The food was quite tasty and atmosphere was great. The prices are basically the only thing to complain about.

Very cozy and warm. I had the linguine with clams and the sauce was very light but packed with flavor. My girlfriend had the beet salad and shrimp
Cocktail. Everything was delicious and our server was a great gentleman. Would definitely go back if I get a chance

We have been in JH for three nights so far and this has been our best meal! The cocktails were great and food was delicious. We had the steak frites and the daily special chicken and leek pot pie. To die for! Finished with flourless chocolate cake which was heaven for my chocoholic self! Atmosphere was perfectly cozy. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Jackson!

This is a fantastic true 5 star dining experience in Jackson, WY. We had a six top with family in the middle of the beautifully remolded historic dining room. We kicked things off with delicious oysters we were told were from Washington. The pleasantly sized oysters came with a nice zesty mignonette, all so good we ended up ordering more. We had a variety of cocktails, all which were loved.
After some apps, I chose and enjoyed the beef Wellington, a few chose the trout and we all ate well.
The owner, Colin Flory, was there running things. He and I had a nice chat and I enjoyed hearing all the history of the lovely building Coe Tavern occupies.
The manners, anticipation and silverware placement from our waiter was top notch.
Our dining experience was an awesome end to our trip. Enjoy yours and while this place is newer, I imagine there will come a time when a reservation will be difficult to get.

Great spot, slightly off town square. Really great and attentive service, excellent prep on the food, and intimate seating. Highly recommend if you are here visiting, as better than several of the more popular options. Ordered the Wellington and the wedge. Both solid.

Food was OK, not worth the price. I originally ordered the linguini and clams but had to send it back as the clams were not cleaned well and was incredibly gritty. The noodles were also so overcooked that it clumped together when I initially tried to eat it.
They comped the linguini but I was hoping they would have at least given us a discount on my replacement entree for the inconvenience.
The good news is that their lobster rolls is tasty and doesn’t have grit.

We LOVE Coe Tavern in Jackson!!! Best ambiance with cozy atmosphere and awesome service from server to the owner. French Onion Soup was best I’ve ever had, same with lobster rolls and steak frites. Make sure you don’t miss out on this spot!

The absolute best dining experience I’ve had in the past decade of visits to family and friends in Jackson! If you are considering visiting the area or have yet to try, this should be your first stop for an exceptional dinner out on the town. The atmosphere and interior design is so cozy and well done, and the food I can’t compliment enough. If you’re a fresh seafood lover look no further – the clam linguine is a must.
