Where do I even begin?
Probably with the word: INCREDIBLE!
Absolutely everything was immaculate. The seafood alfredo? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Seasoned beautifully, the alfredo sauce thick and creamy, the shrimp cooked to perfection. The fried shrimp was seasoned heavenly and fried perfectly. The butter sauces all flavorful. The salmon perfect. Everything was perfect!
I cannot accurately put into words just how incredible this meal was! Everyone was so incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is definitely a hidden gem of Garber and I will definitely be returning!

This Saturday afternoon I was looking for a place to grab a meal while sitting in the home improvement store parking lot in Garner NC at the intersection of highway 70 and 401. I saw the sign for the Walking Crab above one of the storefronts in the shopping center. One is always wondering whether a place you just happen to see in passing will be a blessing or something else. I checked some reviews and headed in.
The set up is simple. Open fast food level dining area. Order counter is near the back, in front of the kitchen. It was clean, if very simply decorated.
I ordered “The Ultimate”, steamed snow crab, shrimp, sausage, corn-on-the-cobb and potatoes. It was drizzled with a buttery garlic sauce. My crab cluster had 5 legs. Didn’t count the shrimp, but they were good sized and there were several. You can also get this meal fried.
I haven’t had crab claws in a couple of years; though I have had crab cakes. The two require very different levels of commitment to consume. Today I was hungry; commitment was not an issue. Claw cracking took in hand, I dug in.
The crab was good. The other meal items were adequately seasoned and tasty. I enjoyed meal. It is nice to be able to get good crab in Garner, NC. I will be by again.

Had the pleasure of getting my family some dinner from their food truck which was parked at Gizmo Brewery in Raleigh. Their crab boil was delicious, potatoes were great and not over done. The sausage was yum (kielbasa?). The spices they use for their crabs are fantastic. The catfish and shrimp baskets were awesome too. The fries were really delicious and not just “blah.” I loved the fried catfish, spiced with something awesome.

I have finally found a GREAT seafood spot in the triangle. And by great I mean, the staff is great, the quality and freshness of the food is great and the prices are great. I left with plenty of food leftover and that’s what I love. The price matches the quantity. I can’t wait to go back with my family and go for another round!! This place definitely earned its 5 star!

Very good! The employees here are extremely nice and I really enjoyed the visit. I had crawfish with the potato’s and sausage. It was very good and you do get a lot of food for your money. I know seafood is expensive but I do wish it was more affordable for everyday lunch. I will definitely be coming back to visit! Yum!

Decided to visit here for the first time ,walked in and was greeted with great customer service. I ordered the fish plate which came with a choice of two sides and I got Mac n cheese and fried okra. My mom got a cluster plate which came with 1 crab leg cluster, shrimp, potatoes and sausage. The flavors and seasoning was on point and I was full before even being half way done. I will definitely visit this spot in the near future again .

The staff was pleasant and the establishment was clean. (Equals a 2)Now let’s talk about butter and garlic flavored shells, potatoes, sausage, eggs, corn and shrimp. The bland taste of the crab legs indicates no flavored boil spice was used and lawd not a drop of Ole Bay Seasonings. On to the next entree the seafood Alfredo bake–SMH pasta and a few shrimp buried in butter does not yield a baked pasta dish but certainly could lead to a heart condition. Beautiful website photos but for the real deal see my pictures and then decide. I’ve read some reviews so I guess it’s a hit or miss type of place. So on tonight ya missed. I didn’t even talk about price so know you could do it urself and have change.

I am literally one of the pickiest eaters in the world, but there’s nothing I don’t like from this place. Absolute hands down the best crab legs, shrimp, sausage, and potatoes I’ve ever had. Don’t even get me started on the garlic butter sauce! My boyfriend and I got their $35 pan special today and it was the bomb! Def gonna go back as much as we can.

Perhaps the positive reviews are old reviews from a time when this place actually was good or under different management. Most likely they are from friends and family of the owners. I ordered food here today, and what I paid $50 for was absolute GARBAGE. Essentially, I got a plastic bag filled with some kind of brown oily water, weighted down with hunks of potatoes, a few pieces of a sausage, a cob of corn, a semblance of broccoli, and meatless crab shells. I absolutely hate to bash what appears to be a Black-owned business. But hey, you scammed me. So I don’t feel too bad about it. Typically, I would have returned to the business for a refund in a situation like this. But since I’m a trucker, I don’t always have that opportunity.
