Stopped here for breakfast and had a custom omelette made. Service was good. Prices are pretty good. Flavor was lacking in the omelette even with all the items I added to the omelette.

Would definitely visit again and try lunch!

So is this what’s called “cheesesteak daddy” on Uber eats? tell me why you charge me $15+ for a cheese steak just to give me half the sandwich? I got 2 expecting 2 not 2 halves of each sandwich. I want my money back or at least half of it I have the receipts to prove everything

fries were probably sitting there awhile there were ice cold and burnt the burger was dry and tasted like bologna no seasoning, and it was cooked with a lot of hate! I’d say Worst burger im the area and the price will surprise you $15 for a basic burger I guess only drunk people would rate this higher!

place has gone completely downhill. old lady managing the register and the girl answering the phone with a thick accent is extremely rude. ive tried picking up my food in person and tried to be as friendly as possible but they are just nasty in return. i just called to make a clarification about the menu and have never been spoken to with so much disrespect. will never order there again.

Average at best. Used to be so much better years ago. Got a combo omelette with ham, bacon, sausage and feta cheese. Unfortunately, they put so much ham in it that it made the omelette super wet and the egg part barely existed. The omelette, a side of unripe avocado and a 20oz Diet Coke was about $21. If you come for breakfast, your best bet is the Cody’s big breakfast. You get more than you would with any other breakfast meal and it’s only like $14.
Also, just a hot dog by itself is $6. Come on.

I had to get breakfast to go while in New Haven. Cody’s came up in search. The service was good, and the atmosphere was nice. The omelet was really good. The home fries were kinda tasteless. They really needed some spices…. salt, butter, garlic powder. Anything would help.

I really wanted to love this place since I live walking distance. Ate once inside. Food was okay. The old lady managing the front is rude and gives off terrible vibes. I’m also a DoorDash driver and this place treats drivers like shit. They will make you wait outside and will not tell you when the order is ready. Today, I ordered on chownow and they cancelled my order 10 minutes after I placed it. Will never give this place my business again despite its convenient location.

I walked into an almost empty restaurant at 11:30 tonight. One couple sitting at the counter and the server standing behind the counter watching videos on her phone. I let her know I was picking up a DoorDash order. She points at the door and said, “Not ready, can you wait.”. It’s 27° and snowing out!!! I’m like WHAT!? YOU WANT ME TO STAND OUTSIDE!? She says, “hallway. Stand in the hallway.” This isn’t an accommodating area that’s heated with a bench. This is a place where doors open to the outside, it’s freezing cold and you’ll be in people’s way who are coming in and out. Listen, if the place was packed I might even get it! You can’t have people taking up seating. I was not going to sit. I was literally standing by the door out of the way. I was like, yeah, nooooo. I feel bad for whoever ordered that and has to wait around for a new delivery driver. I told the lady to drive it to the guy herself. I worked in restaurants and ran restaurants for the last 25 years of my life. There are MUCH better ways to handle this.
1″Excuse me miss, it’s quiet at the moment so it’s OK if you want to wait in here. In the event we get a big ol rush, I might have to ask you to stand aside or wait in the entryway. It’s a small place so we often run out of room.”
2″Because the restaurant is small and seating is limited, we ask our drivers to please wait in the hallway until we bring you the order. I appreciate your understanding.”
3 Would you mind either waiting in your vehicle or (put a bench in the hallway to try to make it more accommodating) on the bench in the entryway. We will message you the moment the order is ready to go.
I don’t know ya’ll. It’s all about the way you treat people.
Based on the owners reply, I now understand why the staff talks to people the way they do. “Sorry my waitress was playing on her phone and couldn’t form a coherent sentence in order to nicely ask you to wait in your vehicle until the other was ready. Sorry she couldn’t be bothered to explain that is just my policy. Sounds like that wasn’t handled professionally and for that I’m sorry.” FYI… just because someone is “just a driver” in this case, doesn’t mean they aren’t a patron another time. I wouldn’t eat here if it was the last place on Earth. Nor will I ever pick up a delivery here again.
