Cafe Genevieve knows how to turn breakfast into an event.
The s’mores French toast was pure, unapologetic indulgence. Gooey Nutella. Marshmallow melting into every bite. Decadent in a way that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate what’s happening. It’s gluttony done right. I balanced it out with a side of eggs and potatoes, both solid and well executed.
Across the table, the Cajun biscuits and gravy delivered serious flavor. Funky in the best sense. The gravy was thick enough to cling without overwhelming, and the sausage hit that perfect note of seasoning and texture. Comfort food with confidence.
Drinks held their own. The Irish Coffee came strong and steady. The Huckleberry cocktail leaned sweet, but still enjoyable if that’s your lane.
Service struck the right balance. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without interrupting the moment. They let us enjoy the food and each other.
The space is a bit tight and seating is limited, but that intimacy adds to the charm. Cafe Genevieve doesn’t just serve breakfast. It delivers an experience worth returning for.

This was an excellent breakfast spot. We sat in a nice outdoor seating area, so I’m not sure what the inside looked like. The weather was perfect outside and the scenery was beautiful. Jackson looks like you’re on a movie set, with the mountains rising high behind the buildings. For our breakfast, we had the Belgian Waffle (with berries and whipped cream), and the Cajun Eggs Benedict (with potatoes). Thankfully the wife n I like to share, so I got to enjoy both. And both were delicious. The waffle was crisp and fluffy, the berries were fresh, and the whipped cream was just the right amount of sweet. The eggs Benedict were full of flavor. The hollandaise sauce was excellent, and the potatoes were crispy and well seasoned. The only downside to our visit was the service was a little slow at times (getting our order in and getting our check), but everything else was great. We would definitely recommend a visit if you’re ever in beautiful Jackson.

My son and I are on vacation here in Jackson Hole, WY and decided on coming here based on what the hotel staff suggested. The food was pretty good. We put in our order and in about 2 or 3 minutes, the food was brought to us. The atmosphere, though, was the opposite. I could just tell that people here are not used to black people as we are the only ones we have seen since visiting here. Our female waitress seemed to be in her 50s or late 40s. I noticed how bubbly and conversational she was with the non-black patrons versus how she was with me and my son. She wasn’t rude. It just seemed forced when she did try to interact with us. It made the experience a little uncomfortable, especially for my son whose introvertedness is much worst than mine. We’re going to be here another 6 days, and I already know how we will be treated based off of this experience alone.

I was passing through the state with my family. We were seated right away, no wait time. I forgot to take pictures of their dishes but I was able to snap a picture of my Avocado Toast. It was delicious, no doubt. I finished the plate leaving the ketchup. Overall, that was the best avocado toast I ever had. Must try if you haven’t yet!!

Cute place to stop for breakfast! I got the yogurt bowl and my friend got the eggs. The texture of the eggs and cheese was a bit off -eggs were a bit overcooked to go with the dry cheese, overall kind of a strange texture thing but I mean my yogurt bowl was great! Servers were super nice and knowledgeable about stuff to do in the area.

We came to Café Genevieve for breakfast and it was delicious. I got the s’mores French toast, which was fantastic. The Buffalo sausage links were really good and are a must. We were able to eat outside, which was really fun for the ambience. There’s only one bathroom for this restaurant so be forewarned.

Authentic cafe experience. Food was unique and portion was good. The candied bacon salad was great, I added a chicken thigh, and it came out as a full meal. Awesome meal and nice atmosphere

Everything was mid & disappointing…the eggs bene tasted like straight vinegar, our coffees were bitter and watery– nothing we ordered was good.
Also wasn’t a big fan of all the indoor flies, or being seated so close to the bathroom with the slamming door.
We were looking forward to a nice brunch, but this was a fully unpleasant and overpriced experience.
