We stopped by over the 4th of July weekend while driving along the coast. We were very impressed by the friendly and very accommodating staff who went out of their way to make our lunch just perfect. The seafood was good, fresh and not expensive. The same dishes in a fancy place would cost $10 more. I hear they will be moving into a new place with an ocean view soon. I will be looking for them next time I am in town!

Prices were more than fair and the lady was working very hard running their family business. Asked about the fish and she had some fresh whole flounder and it was excellent. I would have paid much more at other establishments. Let’s be honest most places are serving farm raised shrimp that are tasteless. Their shrimp actually tasted like shrimp and were fried perfectly. If you are looking for quality seafood at good prices give them a try. Ask what she has fresh and spend your money at a family owned restaurant.

It was the first time to eat there and I was very impressed. I had a fish taco and the fish was very good. It was crunchy on the outside and moist, well cooked on the inside. It was very tasty! Will be back as soon as I can.

Portions were very lacking for the price. Flavor and quality of the food was not bad but nothing special. Took way to long to get our food with Noone ahead of us. The upside the owners were very nice.

My husband and I just left from Sunday lunch at Costal Cafe as we dined in for our first time. We live in North Houston and usually end up here in Sunday’s to maintain property. We were exited to discover there was a new seafood restaurant in town that was also open on Sundays! Costal Cafe did not disappoint. With help from the friendly staff my husband ordered fried flounder covered in shrimp étouffée and I ordered grilled snapper with strawberry jalapeño glaze as our main entrees. Both were equally delicious in their own way. We left happy with full belly’s from our dining experience. Quality, quantity, customer service, pricing and cleanness of the cafe were all on point! We will be back for sure! ❤️
