IMPRESSIVE!!! I was impressed by this place before I even started eating at the Iftar Ramadan buffet. Very well organized. Very clean. Food was ready before Iftar and you can make a plate before Iftar which really helps reduce the line for the buffet. Also the buffet is double sided which also helps move things along faster. When people were in line during the Iftar call to the prayer the staff gave them dates to make sure they can break their fast! This is very impressive. Food was delicious. Many vegetarian and meat options. Juice and tea and sweets for desert. They kept the buffet stocked well. They cleared tables quickly. And there was a place to pray. Highly recommend.

Last Ramadan, Clove Restaurant quickly became our favorite place for iftar. We absolutely loved the taste, the quality, and especially the wide variety of dishes. Everything felt fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. We even recommended it to friends because of how impressed we were.
Unfortunately, this time our experience was completely different. The taste of the food has noticeably declined, and many of the dishes lacked flavor and freshness. We were genuinely confused about what to choose as a main dish because nothing really stood out. In the end, we mostly stuck to fruits just to feel satisfied.
It honestly felt disappointing, especially because we had such high expectations based on our previous visit. We couldn’t help but wonder if the chef or management has changed. We truly hope Clove regains its old quality, as it once was one of our favorite Ramadan spots

Chefs kiss, although a bit pricey &and smaller potion sizes, food here is amazing!!!! It is also perfect for booking special events here. There is indoor and outdoor seating.

Good Atmosphere but food and service are not worth for the prices offered.
Tried iftaar buffet and noticed few things:
1.Found dates to be spoiled.
2.Naan was hard and not refilled for long time.
3.Nihari mutton was full of oil and less tatsy.
4.Chicken biriyani over dosed with kewra / rose water and biriyaani essence. Not able to have it more than a spoon.
5.Chicken they had 3 varieties 2 were ok but 1 was too bad.
Apart from these they had some good tea, a great samosa, couple of veg appetizers with channa which were good.
Not visiting again!

I visited Clove Restaurant last year and had a very good experience. The food was fresh, flavorful, and the service was great. Unfortunately, my last two visits were very disappointing. The quality of the food has clearly changed, and the service was very poor. Some of the dishes did not smell fresh, and it honestly felt like leftover food was being reheated and served again.
In addition, the seating arrangement was very uncomfortable. The chairs are too small and the tables are very small as well. It feels like they reduced the size to fit more customers into the space, but it makes it very uncomfortable for guests. I had my Iftar there and was completely uncomfortable during the meal.
Overall, the experience was nothing like before. I hope the management seriously works on improving the food quality, service, and customer comfort.

We recently hosted an event at Clove Restaurant, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The management Adeel And Shahzaib were incredibly organized, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The staff was just as wonderful helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed.
The food was absolutely delicious. We selected dishes from the Afghan menu and paired them with Pakistani appetizers, and everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our guests kept complimenting the food all night!

I’ve visited Clove a few times now and I love their food so much. For me it is the best desi food in northern Virginia. The restaurant’s interior is so gorgeous which further elevates the ambiance but the service and food is equally as amazing.
Samosa – Simple and perfect. Great seasoning in the filling and good crisp!
Chapli Kabobs (Beef) – 10/10, the seasoning is always spot on and they cook it to perfection. They’re sooo big and I order it every time I come.
Mattar Paneer – 10/10, they cook their paneer dishes very well. Paneer always soft and the masala is great. I’ve had their palak paneer too, also amazing!!
White Chicken Handi – 10/10, creamy flavor and not too spicy but that is the beauty of the dish. The chicken was tender and melted in mouth. Tasted great with naan!
Don’t miss out during Ramadan for their Iftar buffets, so many menu items and drink options. It is never ending and my whole family is always satisfied. Amazing service all around and the food always fresh and warm!
