The “small meal” was a ton of food. Drink, cornbread, brownie, I got a pulled pork sandwich and tried 2 of the 8 BBQ sauces they had out (both were good) and the Apple coleslaw. $9 on special! Good food for good value. Not bad for a newer restaurant. Keep it up Sgt.

Good food and great service. Simple fair for reasonable prices. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. You are in charge of how much sauce you put on. Coleslaw was a nice surprise for someone who doesn’t like regular coleslaw.

The absolute best bbq ribs I’ve had outside of the South. Portions are generous, meat is smokey, tender and flavorful. Falls right off the bone, and has a beautiful stand-alone flavor. Sauce entirely optional. Apple coleslaw was also delicious, but the ribs are a show stopper.

The barbecue was excellent, so good that I had to try the rest of the food. The meatballs, smoked salmon, smoked hot dogs, and fresh brewed tea are all delicious. The staff were very friendly and patient and all items were priced tax included, so no math at the register. I will be going back every chance I get 🙂

Love this place! I am vegetarian, try as much as possible to be vegan. And this place has options for both! All of their salads are made with Just Mayo. My favorite is the Sweet Potato Salad! On a vegetarian day I love the Smoked Egg Salad sandwich! On a Vegan day, they have Jackfruit Sliders, which is a rare find here in the harbor! Just the right amount of smokiness and you get to choose from their variety of BBQ sauces! I love the Habenero one! The Coffee one is my second favorite, cause they make it with curry! So good!! They even have a Vegan dessert! Thank you for thinking of us Vegetarians/Vegan’s! Makes a huge impact on where I choose to eat!

So I got a small meal, in the end I was surprised they could even sell this mess as a meal. The pulled pork sandwich was made right before my eyes, and in the 15 seconds it took me to get from counter to table and begin eating, the sandwich was cold, and the bottom bun was a soggy mass. The mac-&-cheese was also cold, tasted like a burnt log pulled directly from a camp fire. When we asked if the beans were like baked beans they said “Yes, they are exactly like baked beans”, which is a false statement, the beans tasted like they had red wine poured on them, and looked like a can of kidney beans from the store was dumped directly into the cup. The Bacon Meatballs were not cooked at all, they were burnt on top and still cold and raw in the middle. The only saving grace of this meal was the brownie, which tasted like a brownie. 1 Star is too many for this place, but I am required to rate from 1 to 5… it should get zero stars.
