Reviews
The espresso at Clock Tower Coffee is decent. It’s a well-made shot that satisfies the coffee craving.
Scenery and Ambiance:
A major highlight of this cafe is the nice scenery and ambiance. It’s a very pleasant and relaxing setting to enjoy a drink.
Study/Work Area:
The café offers a big area specifically for working or studying. This is a great feature for students, remote workers, or anyone needing space to focus.
Overall Impression:
Clock Tower Coffee is a solid choice, especially if you’re looking for a great atmosphere and a dedicated space to work or study. The decent espresso combined with the excellent setting makes it a highly recommended spot.
Despite this, I still recommend the cold brew to all my friends! Nowhere else does it better IMO!
I come here every single day, and get either the Brazil drip coffee or a cold brew. I also get coffee for the house.
The coffee beans are fresh roasted every day/every other day. The whole shop always smells like freshly roasted coffee.
I’ve talked to the owner, and he’s very knowledgeable and passionate about the whole roasting and brewing process. This shop started out in 1998, and has been going strong ever since. He’s shown me the massive water filter that leads to pure water being used, which makes the coffee taste and smell only like coffee.
Fantastic coffee shop overall. I appreciate the frequency of daily roasting which keeps coffee fresh, and the overall friendly vibe and family like atmosphere of the shop. I highly recommend the drip or cold brew.
My one complaint is there’s very few mugs and cups, mostly everything is TOGO. I find that hot water into a TOGO cup messes up the flavor and gives me a stomach ache, and I find real mugs and glasses are part of a nice coffee shop vibe. So I’d recommend to bring your own water bottle. I also don’t like the fact that the surrounding is a parking lot, but that complaint maps more to American Suburbia and isn’t specific to this coffee shop. The coffee is so good though that this small complaint doesn’t change my five star rating.
They have art supplies, candles, printed cards and other things beyond a cafe and bakery
Pros:
– Large selection of coffee, tea and pastries.
– Great location, the neighborhood is good to walk around.
– EV charging in the same campus.
Cons:
– Coffee was not very hot.
– Limited seating, the place can get very crowded at times.
[Coffee Experience]
The coffee here has a good variety and taste. They have a great selection of drinks. When you buy coffee bags, they give you a free drink which is nice! Also, they give you a good amount of beans for the piece.
However, Purchasing bags of coffee can be mysterious since they don’t put the roast date on the bag. Coffee tasted fresh enough, but for the serious coffee connoisseur this is important.
[Customer Service]
Everyone here was super friendly! It appears to be a family run shop which I appreciate! I always prefer these shops to Starbucks or other big chains. I felt welcomed when I came here!
I recommend giving this place a shot! Loved the vibe, the staff, and the coffee!
