After a day at the beach I usually stop here for a lobster roll. Parking is tricky as it gets very busy. I love that the staff will bring you your food when it’s ready, even though you have a buzzer, they will still beat you to the counter! Prices are pretty typical & menu is basic, but that’s all I need after a long day of having fun in the sun. You can eat either inside or outside here, I prefer outside.

Went to clam castle today and was so excited for the food. I got one half order of scallops, shrimp and clam. Spent $73.00 & am disgusted… the blackened shrimp/scallops had excessive old bay and only 4 in each container!! Needless to say a WASTE OF MONEY!!!!! Was going to go back but they were nearing closing time!!! I am disappointed and disgusted that I spent this money on 8 pieces of trash! Will never go again!!!

I’ve been coming to Madison for 40 years. I’ll agree I’m picky when it comes to seafood. I waited 25 minutes for my order to be ready and had to ask for it to go. Lobster roll was plentiful but lacked butter and the lobster was dry. Maybe Monday nights aren’t the best here.

Been coming here for ten years .. new owners? Small portions and tasteless tortilla and cold.. tiny piece of blacked fish . They sell tacos singler now no more combos. Nobody asked how it was. It was trash. Go across the street to Lenny’s.

Good food, but very over priced. There wasn’t any indoor seating last time I went, but you go up to the window and give them your order and you sit out back at a pretty area with picnic tables. The fish tacos were pretty good, nicely cooked fish that was crispy but also soft. The fries were super crispy and tasty too! The whole belly clams were also very tasty. The food also came out very fast.

Lovely sea shanty. Menu is clear. Prices higher. $ 6.75 for extremely small cup (seemed like a 1/2 cup) of clam chowder soup…creamy potato…lacks clams. I ordered fried oysters and got over fried clam bellies. French fries were $4.50. They were salty and not properly fried. Burger was fine,but for $12.00 and having to buy fries separately is a shame Lemonade filled with ice. Now this is just stealing from your community. I understand that times have changed and prices have increased, but please teach your young employees to prepare food correctly. I see many seniors sitting at your tables, be fair to your community. I want to take my family out in eat in town. I want to keep your business running, but if you’re going to skimp and cut corners, it’s just not right. Really I have been coming to this establishment since the 80’s. Thanks for all the good memories,but I’ll be moving on and I hope others will do the same. It’s just not okay.

I am literally still sitting outside on a picnic table writing this review. We spotted the place on our way down RT 1 the evening before. We were staying at Mohegan and I told myself I had to come back for lunch. I have to say that this is not a review about the food. The food is tasty though a bit overpriced I feel. But this is the coastline and this is the season.

Spent the day at the beach and decided to give Clam Castle a try since it was so close. Spent $65. On a clam strip platter, an order of calamari and a Ceasars salad. We were extremely disappointed. The only thing that was almost worth the $ was the salad. We’ve had better clam strips and calamari from our local pizza place and better prices. Wish I had looked at the reviews first. Definitely won’t be back. I’ll drive farther down the road and stop and one of the other seafood places where I know the food is worth the price.

We have been here multiple times over the last couple of years. The chicken nuggets were good but not as GREAT as I remembered it. The sweet potato fries were fantastic though. They get the full 5 stars.
