On a Thursday night when many dining rooms are still easing into the weekend, this one was already humming. The house was close to full, yet the front of house moved with quiet efficiency. We were seated immediately and landed the kind of table most guests hope for, a two top tucked beside the fireplace, warm without being smoky, intimate without feeling cramped.
We ordered three dishes and found the kitchen working with a confident, balanced hand. The she crab soup arrived in a generous shallow bowl, its color a soft coral and its texture properly velvety. It carried real depth rather than pure creaminess, with a gentle heat that built slowly and kept the richness in check. It is the sort of dish that reads as classic but still feels carefully tuned.
The beet salad was anchored by a fried goat cheese round, crisp on the outside and creamy at the center. The server offered, unprompted, to split the salad into two plates, a small gesture that made the course feel more composed and deliberate. The beets were sweet and clean, the greens bright, and the cheese served as the structural element rather than an afterthought.
Coconut shrimp can lean heavy when the breading dominates, but here the exterior was crisp and well browned while the shrimp stayed notably tender. The flavor skewed sweet in a controlled way, closer to toasted coconut than dessert, and it paired easily with the accompanying sauce.
Good service is often less about grand gestures than pacing, and the meal moved briskly without feeling rushed. Add a solid bread basket and a properly done tea service with quality bags, and the evening landed where the best weeknight dinners should. Comfortable, well run, and consistently tasty.

Came here with a big group for dinner. Had a set menu and was impressed with the options. She crab soup was delicious as well as the southwest Caesar salad. I got the filet mignon as my main cooked very well. I thought portion was a little small but tasted delicious. Flourless torte is what I got for dessert.
Overall, I’d like to come back and try their whole menu. I’m sure there are some good options there.

Had an incredible anniversary dinner at Claire’s last night – our go-to place for a date! Our server Anthony is the BEST and helped make our evening special. The food was out of this world, as usual, and the drinks were delicious. I recommend the She Crab Soup, filet, and tuna wontons, and you can’t go wrong with the Old Fashioned!

Our 6th and last visit to Claire’s was this past New Year’s Eve. The cost was $125 per person. I had steak. It was tiny and full of fat. My wife had undercooked lobster. The salad was small and not very good. The desert was small and seemed like it was purchased elsewhere with no flavor. Our first visit was approx 7 years ago and we had a great experience. Our prior New Year’s Eve visit was also good, but 3 of the 6 times we visited were less than average. The building is great. The staff are nice and professional. The food is not as advertised.

Unbelievably delicious! I have been wanting to try this place since my husband went to a work lunch here for a retirement party. I went without a reservation, although I was sat almost right away, I would make one in the future. They have some outdoor seating that looked really nice! The inside was cute, classic, with exposed brick it looked clean and rustic. The service was quick, everything came out hot and so yum! Our server Diana was pleasant and attentive. My son got a cup of house soup app which was very good, My mother and I shared the coconut shrimp app which was good but we both were hoping for a sweet sauce and it came with something else (though still good, didn’t even need sauce!), I ordered the crab cake sandwich which was good (but I’m a Maryland girl and I have had better) had some sauce that was super tasty which I loved, my mom ordered the quiche that was even better, for dessert I got the Cream Brulé which was exquisite, but the reason I’ll go back again and again is the Bourbon caramel bread pudding dessert, which was to die for! Would absolutely recommend!

Claire’s never disappoints. We ordered calamari for our starter and I have to say the shaved Parmesan was an excellent touch! We had the crab stuffed shrimp scampi and the spring risotto with shrimp for our entrees. Finally we shared the vanilla bean gelato and a dessert wine for the finishing touch! It was excellent!! It’s hard for me to order differently because the risotto is always on point. I have to give a huge thanks to our waiter Anthony! He was beyond fantastic. He was attentive and engaging and I don’t know when I have had a better waiter. I highly recommend you ask for him. Will definitely be back. The chef is amazing and you can’t go wrong eating here. Worth every dime spent!

Ambience is exceptional upon entering and attention to detail is noteworthy. Our server was very attentive and took no notes and passed on our food requests exactly as we had requested. Our entrees and wine was outstanding. It is telling that the owner and the staff care about what they do and it shows.

Cute little restaurant in Warrenton. Surprisingly crowded for lunch during the week. Sat at the full service bar. Seats very comfy. Specialty drink was yummy. All 4 of us enjoyed our food. Very generous portions and delish!.. Will return!

The atmosphere is a wonderful as the service. The food as delicious as it is beautiful. I had a lovely lunch and will definitely be back. Their crab soup is amazing. I was fortunate to dine on a day their special was grilled trout/delicious!
