I recently visited Banh Mi Brothers during their Black Friday promotion, which offered an impressive discount on their bánh mì selections. I ordered both of their specialty sandwiches—the Korean Beef and the Porchetta—and was genuinely impressed by the quality and authenticity of each one.
My father and I were stunned by how closely the flavors and textures resembled the traditional bánh mì we grew up with. It truly felt like a taste of home brought to America. The restaurant also delivered excellent service, with fast-paced order preparation and an attentive staff. In addition, the owner personally extended a kind gesture by offering my father extra porchetta on the side as a sign of appreciation, which made the experience even more memorable.
Overall, Banh Mi Brothers exceeded our expectations in both flavor and hospitality. I will absolutely be returning to explore the rest of their menu—this is a restaurant worth revisiting again and again.

I have never had Banh Mi and I was super surprised at how good this was. I got the Traditional Grilled Chicken Banh Mi. My husband got the Specialty Korean Beef Banh Mi, and then we got seasoned fries to share.
The Banh Mi was super flavorful. Fresh, light, but still flavorful. My husband said the exact same thing about his. It’s a perfect lunch.
I wish I got a good picture of the Banh Mi on the wall, but I like to let people enjoy their food. definitely recommend if you’re in the area though!

Really love our experience here from start to finish.

Even though Hal (the owner) wasn’t there like he promised (just kidding Hal), he still was thoughtful enough to send a message through someone else working that day, and they took care of us. Give us a great reason to come back!

I had a great first experience at Banh Mi Brothers. I already love Vietnamese food, I saw it in the area and decided to try it. The music vibes were great in my opinion, each staff member was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the vermicelli noodle bowl with the bulgolgi beef, 10/10 recommend! Food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try the Banh Mi’s! I love giving random good reviews. Charlotte can be a little shaky when it comes to food, this may be a place where you don’t have to guess if it’s going to be good or not.

I used to love this place for its vegan options. Lately, however, the quality of the food has really changed. It no longer tastes fresh. Even the bread seems old and it’s just thrown together without much care. I ordered the vegan original today for pickup. It wasn’t available and I missed the calls they made to me to inform me (I ordered online). I appreciate them trying to reach me but then they didn’t inform the person picking up the order for me. They just left it out of the order. I called and found out what happened and sent the person back to pick up a different sandwich. Given the issues, I expected they’d take more care to make sure my replacement was prepared well. The bread is hard and crumbly, not like it’s been toasted, more like the bread is old. The vegan meat in the sandwich is cold. It’s not something that makes me want to return when I’d been a regular customer before. I just want them to get back to the superior quality of ingredients and care in sandwich making they once had. It will be a long while before I return, if I ever do. If anyone else is experiencing this same decline in quality and care I encourage you to post so they can get the feedback and hopefully fix it, especially for the vegan options.

We ordered a vermicelli noodle bowl, porchetta banh mi, and pho-tine fries. Everything was delicious, fresh, and hearty with great portion sizes, and at such reasonable prices too. The fries could’ve been an entree on its own with how much beef it had! The owner was very extremely friendly and ready to answer questions, and even offered samples of the teas and gave us an appetizer on the house. All the staff members were also friendly and professional. Looking forward to being back!!

Tried banh mi for the first time and it was delicious. The meat was tender and juicy. The bread was the best part. It was thin and very crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. Would eat here again

I had the grilled pork banh mi and spring rolls. It was $7.95 for the banh mi. Food was served quickly and fresh. Very delicious and light eat, perfect meal after moving a bunch of furniture into an apartment. I think the bread was actually one of my favorite parts of this sandwich. The spring rolls were very good as well, the peanut sauce was delicious too.
