This place is one of my favorite places I’ve ever been to. THEY HAVE THE BEST BUBBLE TEA IVE EVER HAD. The poke bowls are phenomenal and the owner is super cool. The vibe is fire, the artwork is so cool, the food and tea is the best. City Pop Sushi is a once a week stop for me always! Check it out

Where do I start? Immediately walking through the door I was amazed with the art and general vibe they were going with… Nice, colorful, super clean. The dude at the counter recognized immediately that it was my first time there and gave me the rundown of the menu, which while limited, is very good and creative! He then showed me nothing but respect and friendliness for the rest of the time I was there. Not only was the food downright delicious, but it was super cheap! The bad “reviews” on this absolute banger of a sushi joint are wrong… they either don’t know how the world works, or they’re pretentious and expect everything on a diamond platter.

The Spicy tuna roll was absolutely delicious and the ramen was really good too. Also got to play a Marvel trivia game and won a T-shirt designed by Dope Vybe Only. We had so much fun. This is an awesome place for nerds and otakus

City Pop Sushi over delivered on customer service and sushi freshness! Walked in and was immediately greeted by the kitchen king who took my order, made suggestions, etc. Super friendly staff, incredibly fresh sushi (my rolls had salmon and shrimp) and a super clean space with just enough art from local vendors to grab your eye, but not distract you from the amazing meal you’re about to consume. Definitely grab a bite if you’re in the area.

Great atmosphere! Owner is passionate about his service, food and comfort level of guests. My daughter and I visited at an off time on a weekday and the food was super flavorful. Had the spicy chicken ramen and the broth was excellent, plus plenty of noodles. Also, had some hand rolls and Boba tea. The tea was really good and the boba was perfect, not too chewy and not too soft. Wish the hand rolls came with pickled ginger. The artwork is unique and it’s worth a visit just to see the local artists mural inside.

Good food, long wait. I went into the restaurant to order four boxes of sushi (two rolls per box) at about 5:30 p.m. This wasn’t what I would think to be an extremely big order in any instance. A small group, about four people, ordered right before us, but the restaurant didn’t seem too busy. I wonder if they were short-staffed or if it just takes them a while to make their food, but we waited more than an hour for those four boxes, as we didn’t get to eat till around 7 p.m. It honestly wouldn’t have been that big of a deal, but I was with my kids, and I hated having to make them wait so long for such a simple dish. It didn’t help that there was an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet across the street, so I had to be reminded that I could have just gone there and fed my kids immediately. The wait staff was sympathetic to our long wait and did provide some free boba tea drinks to make up for it, and the food was good; my kids and I enjoyed it, but if time is of the essence and you don’t have the time to wait, go somewhere else for sushi, or if you do go, be wary for the evening time for ordering sushi.
