We ordered a variety of meats and sides for our first visit. I feel conflicted with my experience. The green beans, sweet tea, bbq sauce, and banana pudding were exceptional. I made an Arnold Palmer that was simply delicious. We did have to ask for the banana pudding because they forgot it on our tray. The French fries were cooked perfectly and served hot. The hush puppies were over cooked a little but still good. My ribs were some of the worst, definitely not fall off the bone. My husband loved his brisket but we both felt the pulled pork was mediocre. It was almost as if the pulled pork and ribs needed two or three more hours cooking. Their sausage was good, probably what I’d go for next time. My advice would be to put the Texas toast on the side since sitting in the meats made the bread mushy. It’s expensive, but for the authentic bbq smoked meat, I expect that to pay more. You’ll leave there smelling like a bonfire. It was neat to see all the meat and them cooking as we waited to order. Bottom line, we’ll be back because it’s 10 minutes from us, but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to visit.

Pulled chicken is good. I tried brisket More Cowbell twice. I didn’t like it because I am %90 sure brisket was leftover. It is supposed to be warm and fresh.

New location, just opened. Absolutely delicious food! I didn’t realize they closed at 9. I went in to pick up my order and they gave me some extras because they were closing. So we got to try dishes we didn’t order but will order them now. Employees were super friendly. The restaurant smelled incredible! A++

The food is always great but it’s worth taking the time to sit down inside. The atmosphere and service are second to none and the sweet smell of the smokers is it’s very own treat.

The employees were very nice. There was a mix up with us not getting one sandwich. However, the employees got it for us and offered a dessert for having to wait. The pulled chicken sandwich was very good, the green bean side was excellent. My son got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich on Texas toast which he he said was very good. We will definitely be going back.

The reason why I gave it three stars is that I tried to order through the website, and it was a mess. It just didn’t work. I had to call it in, and then my order was sent to the wrong store in a different state. I had to call back in to correct the issue. The food was very good. The chicken is excellent, just right. However, for $12.99, there should be a side included.

As soon as we walked into the Avon restaurant, Jaime cleaned off our table for us. When our name was called,, he offered to go get our food for us. I watched him interact with other guests, and he was excellent about making sure everybody was taken care of, and had what they needed and at the same time making sure the dining room was clean. Excellent employee! Great customer service!
