Laura was very nice, sweet, helpful and patient with us while trying to order for the whole family and service matters more than the food to me if you’re not happy when i come why would I be happy to come back! So needless to say cant wait to come back and the food is always amazing I got the big cat basket and the fried crab cake delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant best prices for seafood!!!

Staff wasn’t rude but not polite either… very short with us when asking questions as it was our first visit. The food took about 20-25 min to come out bc it was all made fresh and was super hot. Fries were excellent but the fish, shrimp, and chicken all tasted like the grease they were cooked in. Everything looked clean, there were plenty of tables open for us to choose from, and bathrooms were clean. This was probably our first and last visit though but glad we tried it.

I walked in to the counter looking at the menu and 4 staff members walked around behind the counter and NOT ONE PERSON said hello. That’s not good customer service
I didn’t feel like they were interested in my business. Eventually, the one older, bigger Black lady spoke. Them I got home and realized I didn’t get what I ordered. I ordered a big box of fries but got home and had sweet potato fries that is not what I ordered.

I was there, please with the experience that I have at Skrimp Shack in Dumfries, this has always been a home town favorite. If you’re here, definitely check out their fried fish and shrimp. I tried something new today and got the grilled shrimp and crab Poboy…and that was really delicious. The customer service was also amazing. The team that helped me today was Laura, Osiel, and my guy, Mason. Thanks again, hasta pronto

Just had an amazing experience at Shrimp Shack! The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. But what really made our visit special was Mary. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers — thank you, Mary, for your kindness and great service!
Also, do not leave without trying the banana pudding. It’s absolutely phenomenal — creamy, perfectly sweet, and tastes just like something your grandma would make. Hands down the best I’ve had in a long time.

I’ve never been disappointed with their service—always friendly and efficient. The food is absolutely delicious and seasoned nicely. Some of my go-to favorites are the big catfish, fried okra, and shrimp tacos. Highly recommend giving them a try!

The good quality here is really hit or miss I’ve gotten food from here a few times and the last time it was really good I was excited to order again but this time the food was terrible it arrived cold with no flavor and the instructions to put the sauce in the sandwich was not followed. Do yourself a favor don’t order the crab it’s a flavorless waste of money. Look at the attached photos of what I ordered vs what I got and keep in mind I didn’t ask them to change anything I ordered it as it was in the photo. I did take a piece off to try before I took the photo.

I noticed I received the wrong sauce once I got home. Also wish the fish was a bit crispier, but other than that the order was accurate, ready on time and tasty. I wish the Manassas location would’ve been as good as Dumfries because now I have to travel 40mins. Otherwise, I have no complaints and yes it was worth the drive
