My little family of four went to Mr. Chicken for the first time (6pm, Sept 11, 24) and it was fabulous! My 12 year old grandson and my two daughters enjoyed every last bite that we could make ourselves eat.
The restaurant is old, cute and inviting! We were all very comfortable.
Also, a huge shout out to our waitress. We believe there was only one waitress and she was exceptionally great!

Do not sleep on Mr. Chicken. Their prices are fair and the food is so good. Love their broasted chicken, the potatoe wedges, and their baked beans. I am not a fan of coleslaw but my family loved it and said it was delicious. I will definitely be returning for more!

Think the best fried chicken you’ve ever had, but 10x better because it’s broasted… potato wedges and slaw are indescribably amazing, and the ranch is the best in the state. Can’t wait to eat here again and again. Truly incredible. 6 out of 5 stars.

My favorite Jumbo Ocean Perch available everyday . 4 mega pc with Tater Wedges, Famous Coleslaw and Hot Roll . I always eat half take home leftovers for a night treat . Only $14 truly a great deal . She had just two Mega Chicken Breasts only 4 bucks each . I added a Xtra large Coleslaw to take home, yes it’s really great . First time on a Sunday visit early afternoon, a full house. Can’t quite describe the vibe of this place. Seated our selves and was quickly approached by waitress with drink request and a menu. Ordered drinks and began looking around as the place had an old feel to it. Ordered the chicken and shrimp combo, it also came with two sides. Ordered a breast and wing ,which is $1 extra but fine. Came with 6 pieces of shrimp that were or looked and tasted store bought. Needless to say the flavor was decent and the shrimp to breading ratio was balanced. Sides were coleslaw and potato wedges. Wedges were the best I’ve had yet. Tender and fresh but super hot beware as the are cooked to order. Coleslaw was super finely chopped and almost like mush, but flavor was good. Chicken was a 3 out of 5 stars. Not the best I’ve ever had and definitely not the worst. Wing was tender ,crispy and fell apart when bit. A bit sticky for wings,but not bad. Breast was crispy and moist but lacked seasonings in the meat itself. Overall food was decent . Thanks for the great customer service.

The food was amazing. I ordered chicken and ribs. The rib bones luterally pulled out of the meat.my wife chicken strips, shrimp, fried mushrooms. Amazing. This was my first time. It definitely wont be the last. If you have not gone here you definitely need to. You wont be disappointed.

Fresh hot juicy chicken. Lady at register was very nice even though they were busy. The chicken was perfectly seasoned not salty and overcooked. Fresh crispy outside, juicy fully cooked. Wedge are huge and fully cooked and also good. The price is fair considering inflation. Best to go chicken I had.

Awesome broasted chicken! Very tender, juicy, and good flavor. It was my first time getting Mr. Chicken after years of wanting to try them out and passing them on Telegraph Rd.
The potatoes (ordered half-and-half fries/wedges) were pretty good but needed a bit of salt or seasoning.
Very good coleslaw, too!
Because of the price, this is more of a treat (like Chicken Shack) but of your looking for some of the best chicken around, look no further! This is great stuff!
