Placed an online order for the Motherload. Tried the Judges Sampler a few years ago and it was good. Decided to go big or go home this time. Glad City BBQ built this location Delaware, closer to my home. Got there and everything was all ready to go. Said it feeds 6 people, well I been eating on it for 4 days now. Definitely will get again when I need a bbq fix.

The thing I appreciate about City barbeque, especially this location, they are super cautious about gluten contamination! I can’t eat any gluten and they all change their gloves whenever any gluten orders come through. We also had the city sampler and it was absolutely amazing!

Thought I would give them a try today for the first time. Their menu said their fries are cooked fresh and to allow about 3 minutes. Placed the order from the parking lot for inside pick up so was there for my order in less than 3 minutes. Fries were NOT fresh. We ALL know when fries are fresh, they are hot INSIDE and are hot on the INSIDE of the fry… these were not. They had the potential to be good if fresh but I don’t like fries that are not hot. I tried them as soon as I got in my car and they weren’t hot so of course by the time I got home they were not good at all. They were busy so were cooking the fries too much ahead of time for them to be fresh. I know how it goes, used to work fast food when young. Get too much ahead your fries are NOT fresh that you are serving. Got the chocolate cake, run of the mill mediocre, won’t order again.

This was a new experience. I had a pulled pork sandwich, mac-n-cheese & corn pudding. The sandwich was great, pork was tender and flavorful. The sides, I could have just ordered those and would have been super happy. It was a lot of food. The menu was a little confusing but well worth the trip.

This City BBQ is truly awesome. I ordered two party packs for my son’s graduation party. The event was scheduled to start at 11:00 am but they don’t open until 11:00 am. So, I reached out to the store and Tyler the general manager arranged for the food to be ready for me at 10:30 am so it would be at home in time for the party.
