Their gorditas are so good! Fresh ingredients in a crispy and fluffy shell! Service was also friendly and helpful every time I’ve been here.

El Mariachi is a fantastic find! The flavors are authentic, and the food was great. The staff was welcoming and quick with service, and the dining space was very clean. The menu has typical items like burritos, enchiladas, etc. But at the back of the menu is the authentic stuff. The GOOD stuff! We started with a healthy helping of chips & salsa. Then we shared a carne asada Torta with 3 different tacos — brisket, pastor, and steak. The Torta was amazing & can feed 2 people. Definitely recommend it! Tacos were good too & worth the money. Ended the meal with a to-go cup full of Horchata & it was devine! So, so good! If you’ve never had Horchata, then try it while you’re there! You won’t be sorry. El Mariachi is a must-visit for anyone craving top-notch Mexican cuisine.

UPDATE: I’ve been back several times and just love the food here. It’s the best Mexican around, in my opinion.
Today was my first time going, and this is by far one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve eaten at.
The food all the way down to the chips and salsa was so much better and well seasoned.

If you have not tried this place yet, oh boy! I have visited all of the local greater pearl, Hispanic cuisine restaurants. This one for me is the winner. I had one of their tortas. The bread was so good (from the bakery next-door) so fresh. Everything I had was amazing and fresh. the house hot salsa (orange)don’t be too brave- is delicious and don’t forget to stop next-door for dessert at the bakery, super nice people can’t wait to visit again.

Being from Houston, I guess my expectations were too high. I wasn’t impressed by far. Mediocre at best. I ordered the fajitas, which I thought would be strips of meat, but it resembled street taco meat. For $17, I was expecting more. The cheese and bean dip had little to no flavor. The chips were great, though. I wouldn’t go back. These pics were after I started. Forgot to get before pics.

Old stale chips, dry old refried beans. Even the taco shells seemed store bought. The salsa tasted like canned tomatoes, zero flavor. Only good thing was the lovely waitress lady .

I’ve been coming here going on 3 years now, this is my favorite place to get Mexican food in all of Mississippi. The workers are always smiling and so friendly, the food is AMAZING and comes out fast. Try this place out!!

The service is pretty decent, but the food was really delicious! I couldn’t really make up my mind on what I exactly wanted but I decided to get a fajita, which, in my opinion, was pretty great 🙂 next time I will definitely try an authentic Mexican dish.
