We came here for the first time for drinks at the bar and were immediately welcomed by the owner (Charles) with a friendly conversation like he had known us for years. He expertly recommended his favorite drinks and snacks which was completely unexpected. Being from out of town we were disappointed we couldn’t make this our go to spot for celebration or just a dinner date night spot, but would recommend if you live in the area to make it yours.

On March 3rd, my husband and I dined at Citron to celebrate our 15th year of marriage. This was our first time dining here, so we didn’t know what to expect. We were satisfied by our dining experience. The ambience was the prefect setting. The food was very satisfying and the service was great. I especially loved how the owner connected with everyone. We will be back to visit soon.

I’ll keep it short and simple. The food was bad…all of it. The atmosphere was very nice with great views of the lake. The service wasn’t bad. For the amount of money I spent I’ll never be going back and wouldn’t suggest this place to anyone.

Poor experience. Will not return. The best thing about the birthday dinner was the egg rolls, which were more like spring rolls by size and the complimentary birthday cheesecake.

This place deserves 10 stars! The food was delicious, the ambiance was unmatched! We had the sea bass, lamb chops, and a steak. We had a wonderful time here aside from our server charging our card with someone else’s meal which was almost 3 times more than what we spent. Will return but will avoid that server if possible.

I celebrated my 21st birthday here with a party of 30, and it was such a special and wonderful experience! We had outdoor seating and the view over the water was absolutely gorgeous, especially around sunset. The food and cake were delicious and they provided lots of great options for hors d’oeuvres and main courses. The service was absolutely incredible; they were extremely attentive and accommodating to all of my requests on the fly and truly made my experience, especially our bartender Lindsey she was the best! A special thank you to the owner Charles and events planner Mackinley for being helpful and patient with the planning and coordination. The only downside was that when we arrived, the table arrangement was not how we had previously discussed. The table settings including the tablecloths, candles, and configuration did not reflect what we had agreed upon. The owner did offer to change everything once we arrived at the beginning of the party but with guests already there and soon to be arriving I opted to leave things as they were. I felt that this was one of the most important details of our arrangement and was not sure how it slipped through the cracks. It was definitely disappointing to see when I arrived since I was most excited about having one long table right by the water, but overall it was such a memorable and positive experience and I would return. However, I would be hesitant about the large scale party event planning; I saw another review that the organizers did not respect the patron’s wishes day of and I find that a little concerning for a restaurant of this caliber.

Citron rose to one of my favorite restaurants immediately! I enjoyed a beautiful meal, while watching a beautiful view and being serenaded by a beautiful woman who frequents the location: not only was love in the air as was the fresh breeze off of lakeside! The food was amazing! My eyes were bigger than my appetite but even a taste of the crab cake was worth the buck! The owner was so personable I feel I’ve found a friend in him! Thank you the experience!
