Met my wife there for lunch yesterday. The two daily specials were salmon patties and fried catfish. I got one, Ruth the other and we shared. Superb! Nicely seasoned, perfectly cooked. All the sides were great, too! Our bill, with tip was $25. Well worth it!

Stopped in and ate lunch while in town for my uncles birthday and it was good. I had the fish platter. The catfish was awesome. The breading was delicious and nice and crispy. Service was great it is just a little loud inside.

Columbia cheese steak. Very good beefy, very slightly dry yet greasy. I would order it again. Nice atmosphere. Small restaurant with a decent amount of customers. About 5 tables but, it’s only 10 am.

Great food wonderful service but be warned the pancakes are bigger than a dinner plate. One order of Pancakes can easily feed two or three people. A large orange juice is almost a quart of orange juice. All in all it was a great little restaurant

Grest home cooked food. Very friendly staff. One of my kids spilled her drink on her brother. They cleaned everything up and made her feel better. She’s autistic and was on the verge tears. Good food, good people, good price, large portions!

Waited longer than it should have taken to deep fry some fish. That probably explains why it was over cooked and extremely small portions. We both got the fish special and let the waitress know right after we took one bite of how displeased we were with the food and she said she would get the manager and he never showed so we decided to leave since we only ate 1 bite of the very hard fish which was 80 percent batter and a couple fries. We did get a chance to speak with the very young manager on the way out as he was on a computer. He said people usually are happy with the fish and condescendinly said the lunch was on him, like he was doing us a favor. We had no intentions of paying for such bad food that we only ate a couple bites of and had water. We will never be back.

Food was awesome. My only issue is that you say online that you accept credit cards. But no mention of the 4% charge. The charge card fees that the card companies charge you all it’s just all the part of you doing business to get your money out of our bank accounts faster. When I use a debit card I should not have to pay a 4% upcharge. This is Ponzis not circle R.

All this although this local restaurant was recommended by our hotel front desk, we would never eat here again. The entire experience was a disaster. When we arrived, the host never even greeted us, simply picked up a menu and started walking to the seating area. There was no interaction between the staff and patrons. Very awkward to be sitting there in total silence. Took our waitress three tries to get an iced tea and a water order straight. Bringing the wrong thing multiple times to each of us. I ordered the grilled pork chop and my wife had the chop steak. After sitting in a near-empty restaurant for over 20 minutes the waitress finally came out and said they were out of pork chops so had to pick something new then. I then chose the “large grilled ham steak”. Chop steak came out okay. Ham steak was not even the size of a paper plate, was less than 1/8 of an inch thick, and was overdone, similar to Chris P bacon. When I informed the waitress she simply said sorry and walked away. Also order the sweet potato casserole which came out cold. May have been tasty, but I don’t like cold food. Waitress never returned to the table for us to tell her about the cold food and over cooked steak. When paying, the cashier asked how the dinner was, and I told her the problems that we had. She apologized and offered to take 20% off of one dinner, total of $2. They said the owner and head cook had simply not shown up for work that day, so I guess it was a bad day for them and for us too. Hopefully you’ll have better luck there than we did but we won’t be returning. Hope they find their owner and cook.
