Pictures don’t do it justice! The food is really good! We enjoyed the lightly fried spinach with salsa that had a satisfying crunch and refreshing taste. We loved the duck tandoori that was tender yet not greasy. the naan with cashew and pistachio was sweet and starchy, a perfect complement to the meal. Servers were friendly and efficient. will come again.

Great Indian food at a surprising location!

Everything we had was super flavorful, fresh, authentic-tasting and delicious. the korma was very creamy and tasty, and per our request, not spicy at all, suitable for kids. We had a chickpea saag, which wasn’t on the menu, but our server kindly offered to have it made for us, and it was excellent. The samosas were delicious and fresh. The garlic naan was exceptional.

Service was attentive, friendly, and efficient.

The space looks upscale, very pleasant and relaxing.

Will definitely come back next time we’re in the area!

An amazing spot for Indian!

I was visiting from Queens and was not expecting this Indian restaurant (in a small historical town) to deliver this much quality.

The lamb phaal is excellent. The sauce has a robust flavor and the spice level is hot but not painful. They are very generous with the amount of the meat too, which was tender and juicy.

The naan with goat cheese absolutely blew my mind. The cheese was so rich and flavorful. It pairs very nicely with the sauce.

The dessert is also outstanding. The gulab jamun is delightful.

The service was excellent and the atmosphere was modern and pleasant.

This is my favorite restaurant. Food is always 10/10. The goat cheese naan is the best. Such a cozy atmosphere. My fiancé and I have moved about an hour away, but still made the trip back for my bday- worth it!!

My wife and I wanted to try a different Indian restaurant and decided on Cinnamon. We decided to go with South Indian flavors, and the starter and entrées were terrific. For the starter, we had the Andhra chili chicken and loved it. The flavor was in between Indian and Canton and the vegetables were al dente.

Our entrées were the Goan Fish curry and Andhra chicken, both of which were worth ordering again. They were served with rice bowls, which the server claimed were basmati but definitely didn’t look basmati to us. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the rice with fried onions and had it with the goan fish curry. We had also ordered a garlic Naan, a tawa paratha and a chapati. Yes, yes, too much food but we were experimenting. The breads could have been better, they were thick and, I felt, could have been cooked a little more. That said, this is a personal opinion.

The dessert we ordered was a gulab jamun and I can’t recommend it. Was weird. The vanilla ice cream it was served with was good, so I can recommend the ice cream

I felt that the service could have better. It was slow. There were two servers, but the restaurant wasn’t packed. We asked our server to find out about the garnish on the starter and he never got back to us. He also promised to find out about the rice and again never got back to us.

If visiting on Sunday for lunch, please note that municipal parking lot has a farmers market from 10am to 2pm.

We will definitely give this restaurant another visit.

Came into this restaurant hoping to order Chana masala – chickpea curry but didn’t find that on the menu. Samosas were delicious and the chutney green sauce was flavorful. The main dishes did not meet expectations as I’m more familiar with NYC Indian cuisine.
Wouldn’t come back for the food. The restaurant was clean though. A bit small/crowded. Attentive staff. Pricey menu.

I noticed chic and modern interior design (love their long table with Indian characters on the wall, also lightings seem very interesting). For the food wise, it was excellent. I just wish I tried more things on their menu because their curry was delicious. My ideal kind of Indian restaurant!

We eat here when we go to the movies in Rhinebeck but after last night, I think it will be our last time. A small dinner for 2 was almost $90 with tip and no leftovers. And the staff acts as if they’re doing US a favor by letting us eat there. Yes, the food is good but not worth nearly 100 bucks for a casual night out.

Our preferred Indian restaurant is the one in New Paltz which is about 2/3 the price, with an extensive menu. Everything we’ve ever gotten has been excellent plus there are enough leftovers for another dinner or 2 for the both of us.

Cinnamon seems just too precious and self-impressed for our taste. They throw a couple of microgreens on each dish and charge as if it’s nouvelle cuisine.

My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place from the warm and inviting aesthetic walking by the restaurant outside – we came from Paul Rudd’s chocolate shop. We know come here every year the Sunday after thanksgiving and it’s become our annual tradition.

The restaurant is very warm and smells of mouth watering Indian spice. The food is excellent, the cocktails are tasty and the service is impeccable. We love this restaurant and can’t say enough good things.

Would definitely recommend to Indian cuisine lovers everywhere – you won’t be disappointed!
