Cielo and all of our employees hope that you are all well and safe after Hurricane Ian. Hurricane Ian caused major damage to the barrier islands of Sanibel and Captiva, and we are extremely grateful to the Mayor, City Staff, National Guard, Fire Dept., Police Dept. IWA, LCEC and all the others organizations and people that are working or volunteering their time, effort and money to the rebuilding of our beautiful islands, causeway, homes and businesses. We are all back together as a family and look forward to serving the community during this time of rebuilding our community.

I live on the east coast of Florida, but every time I visit the west coast I immediately book a reservation here. It is my favorite dinner restaurant on planet Earth! No exaggeration. The food is beyond words incredible and the atmosphere is exceptional due to the most fun, amazing and beyond talented piano player I’ve ever heard. He is so friendly and even walks around to thank you for being there and asks what song can he play for you. I always get the Caprese Salad, North Atlantic Halibut and the famous (most delicious) Cielo Sundae! My mouth is watering and stomach is growling just thinking about these dishes. If you order any of the above, you will be blown away and understand why it’s my favorite restaurant ever! You must visit here!

It was a slow Wednesday lunchtime in June when we visited Cielo. The drinks were beautiful (see pics) and deliciously made. I had the fried fish tacos (you may tell them baked,grilled,fried). These had a cabbage slaw with an avacado cream sauce. D E L I C I O U S !

We had an incredible dinner at Cielo and were even able to watch the sunset from the table inside. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive and the vibe inside is also very unique and classy. They have live music with a piano and it definitely sets the mood. We started with the calamari which is the best I’ve ever had. Then got both the Caesar and caprese salads which I would definitely recommend the Caesar especially if you love anchovies. I got the fish special which was lightly breaded and served with amazing whipped potatoes and asparagus. Everything was so good we had to try the dessert as well. The raspberry white chocolate cheesecake was the best dessert I’ve had in a very long time. Overall it was a great experience and dinner.

We visited during lunch. Everything was perfectly on point. Our meals were delivered hot and delicious. I enjoyed the snapper fish tacos with a side of their delicious seafood bisque. It was amazing with nice chunks of fish and very flavorful. I’m already planning a future return trip for dinner to try the seafood chowder. I’m sure not to be disappointed.

Matthew was a wonderful server. The piano player also wonderful. He had the perfect sound level for the venue. Always a pleasure to be greeted by chuck. The was food was great as per usual. Great place to win major hubby points.

Love the decor and atmosphere. Service was good. But food has increasingly gone downhill. Calimari was well prepared but seafood stew lacked flavor or tasty seafood,; shrimp risotto had overcooked shrimp and tasteless risotto; adult sundae used to have chunks of brownie, which this time only offered hard to find “croutons”. We told them about our guest’s birthday celebration but it wasn’t recognized with a plate with that message. We used to love coming here with visitors and for special occasions but now feel we’ve lost a favorite evening venue. We are willing to spend the money but not for this quality of food.

Cielo Restaurant was absolutely amazing. I came here for my grandfathers 85th birthday, and the food, environment, and waiter were great. I had the filet which was expensive, but cooked to perfection and delicious. I would highly recommend coming here for a nice dinner.

This was our best dinner on vacation last week! Had young children and the staff handled it flawlessly. Food was perfect and staff a delight! Drinks were particularly fun and all meals from ribs to steaks to scallops were perfect. Thanks for a wonderful experience including having a piano player to sing Happy Birthday to our daughter! Thanks for being opened!
