CIBO is more than just a place to eat—it’s a community hub where locals gather for their morning espresso, enjoy a relaxing midday break, or pick up something comforting on the go. With a commitment to fresh, wholesome food and a genuine connection with our guests, we’ve built a loyal customer base that appreciates the little things: a warm greeting, a hot coffee, and a plate that feels like home.

What a great spot! As a coffee lover, their lattes are DELICIOUS. I have been back quite a few times. I ask for less sweet, and it’s perfect. I especially love the iced pistachio and bananas foster lattes. The syrups and cold foam taste homemade. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I needed to get out of the house and get some work done so I decided to try out Cibo cafe! I ordered their Cinnamon Bun latte which I would rate a solid 6/10. I’ve had a lot of lattes, and although the cinnamon bun latte was good – I found myself staring at someone’s Banana’s foster latte more often than I can count (I will definitely be returning to try that out).
What stuck out to me was the food. I get nervous going to Italian cafes and restaurants as someone with Celiac disease because it is easy to get cross contamination. However, this cafe has a dedicated space to prepare foods for those who have allergies. I felt safe having my “New Englander” breakfast sandwich (GF bread, maple syrup, bacon, sausage, egg, and cheese) along with my coffee and getting some much needed work done in a corner of their cafe.
It was PACKED the day I went which is something to keep in mind if you plan on sitting for a bit since their dining area isn’t giant.
As for parking, there is limited “dedicated” parking around but there is a church parking lot across the street that doesn’t have posted private parking rules or labels. (This is definitely where I parked and didn’t face any issues).
Overall, I definitely plan to return to get another yummy latte and another gluten free breakfast sandwich.

Always a delicious treat when you go to Cibo! My favorite coffee is the caramel iced latte with almond milk or the dirty (espresso shot) iced vanilla chai! The food is always great quality, fresh ingredients and some great combinations for sandwiches! If you go for breakfast definitely try the new englander, my lunch fave is too hard to choose just one, but def try the saltimbocca!

A unique dining spot for breakfast or lunch. All the menu options are tantalizing. An Italian masterpiece on Main in Wakefield. Whether you want a fast, yet fantastic, breakfast sandwich with a top shelf coffee or you want a refreshing lemonade or lime Rickey & Italian designer sandwich, any time of day, you cannot go wrong! Service has always been fast and friendly. Value is high as I find prices comparable to competitors but the food is next level!! Do yourself a favor and visit today!

Nice cafe! The breakfast and lunch food and drinks are all delicious! I have come here many times over the past few years for lunch and breakfast. The food comes out pretty quickly, it tastes amazing. There are also plenty of seating options indoors and outdoors.

This place was popular on TikTok for their specialty drinks and wanted to give it a try. Drinks and sandwiches were underwhelming. Our “flavored” lemonades had no flavor and were carelessly overfilled to the point that I could barely get the straw in and spilled a good amount out. They gave us a small coffee instead of large (sticker clearly said large). We mentioned it to the server who brought our food and she brought a new one. The sandwich I ordered had good flavor but was very messy and had too much chicken in my opinion. The tater tots were so overcooked that they tasted more like chips. The ambiance was also not welcoming. Music too loud in dining area and the tables and floors were dirty. At one point, the owner was yelling at the front of the house staff for several minutes. The place certainly needs better management and properly trained staff to improve the customer experience but yelling at staff in front of customers is never appropriate. Needless to say, the place has potential but it’s very poorly run so don’t go in with high expectations.

Food, drinks and pastries are incredible. My only complaint is that it always seems so chaotic behind the counter. The staff is always working incredibly hard, but something needs to change to make their work flow more efficient and speed up service times. That aside, Cibo is one of my absolute favorite local spots!

Honestly my only complaint about this place is about the front counter staff, the red head employee especially , every single time I come in she’s in a bad mood and doesn’t even want to acknowledge you until you’ve been standing there for a while. You could work around this by using their self serve order kiosk but now they got rid of those so you have to order with the cashier/baristas. The rest of the employees are better but mediocre service at best. They all have a similar attitude about being there. This is a terrible first impression when coming here and it’s one of the main reason I won’t be likely to come back. This specific employee has been there since I’ve been coming here, I doubt I am the first person to notice this problem. Also we’ve never had a bad history , I see them act the same with everyone else coming in.

The food choices here are unique and each sound amazingly delicious, which makes me want to come back often and try them all. Breakfast served all day. Make your own egg sandwich with Ingredients like pesto and eggplant, speak to this Italian’s heart.
The food is superbly fresh and prepared to order. There are no sad sandwiches sitting in cases like Cafe Zero, I mean Nero, Never Going Back.
Cibo is a gem of a place and I adored their art wall. How did they get it to look so perfect?!
I’ve been here twice, and it’s my new favorite go to for real food and quaint atmosphere.
