Finally! I found a new neighborhood spot for quality tacos and burritos. Really cute outdoor side patio with flowers, music playing, and the service was very friendly. We ordered for there and enjoyed the outside tables- they brought everything out to us including some tasty salsa and chips while we waited for the main entrees. It’s cash only FYI. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I loved my chicken taco; the steak burrito was fantastic- the tortilla shell is warmed to crispy, flaky perfection – I never had that before in a burrito. It made for excellent bite after bite. Don’t skip the coconut water!! It’s homemade, sweet but not overly sweet and pairs perfectly with the food. Definitely going back to try some

The ONLY bad thing about this taqueria is how long it took me to realize #1 how close it was to my house, and #2 how DELICIOUS all of their food is!!!
This last summer I couldn’t wait to sneak out of the house for a quick taco and a good book and their cute little patio section, which I did every chance I got. The staff are all super sweet. They are a cash only establishment.
My three go-to tacos are:
#1- The Texano – Shrimp cooked with chorizo with cabbage…. the shrimp is always fresh and tasty, and never rubbery
#2 – The Arriero – Steak, black beans, peppers, cheese, and nopales, all a perfect combination with one another!
#3 – The Happy Taco – Pork with onions, jalapenos, and zucchini
My husband loves their burritos, but I almost ALWAYS get one, two, or all three of these options when I go. Two tacos generally fill me up because they do a great job of not skimping on ingredients. The inside sit down area is very small, and looks like it could maybe accommodate 3 people at the window area. Still a perfect to-go spot when it’s cold. I know I saw another location not too far away, so I’m curious to check them out as well. I usually walk over, but parking finding street parking doesn’t seem to be a huge problem either.

We were around the area and decided to stop by this restaurant for foods. First thing, they only take cash for payments. We bought pork and steak burritos. The food is ok, but seems a bit too wet. If they can make the meat drier a bit, it will be great. Staffs are so friendly and they also have indoor and outdoor tables that customers can enjoy the music around.

Wow, I just had the best experience at El Taco Feiz Taqueria! Seriously, from the moment I walked in, the staff was just incredibly nice and made me feel so welcome – a huge thank you to everyone there!
The place itself is absolutely gorgeous. They’ve got so many beautiful plants and tons of shade, which makes it feel super relaxing and peaceful. Small and beautiful. A real hidden gem if you’re just driving by. It’s truly a lovely spot to just chill out and enjoy some amazing food. And speaking of food, the portion sizes were perfect – really generous and left me feeling totally satisfied. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Been wanting to go to this place for a while and man it was great! I’m in the beautiful community in which this gem exists. The rib eye taco.. is out of this world. They use homemade tortillas for the taco which makes the taco even better.

El Taco Felize is a special place in Chicago but it originated in Cudach Hidalgo Mexico which is over 2000 miles behind our border….Carlos…fine chef and business owner that knows his stuff…I order mostly everything with steak…I’m just that type of the guy…steak tastes excellent and spectacular for the value…I highly recommend El Taco Feliz Taqueria in CHICAGO Illinois USA

My first visit. I ordered the ribeye tacos dinner. The ribeye tacos are served with grilled jalapeños and onions and were fantastic. Seriously among the best tacos I’ve ever eaten. If you are into tacos, it’s worth a visit. I’ll certainly be back to work my way through the menu.

Fantastic restaurant with a fun outdoor eating space with lots of flowers. Tried all of their specialty tacos and they were excellent but the pork and zucchini taco was my personal favorite. Definitely recommend!

I went here for the first time with my husband on Sunday at it was the best experience from entering it to the end, young lady at the front was very nice, thank you! The older gentleman who brought our nachos on the patio was very nice as well, thank you! Loved the service, loved the outdoor decor as well I couldn’t stop telling my husband how nice it looked outside around the patio and in the front. Would definitely recommend this place plus they have the fattest burritos and amazing tacos!! Ten stars of if I could!! Love love love this place, my new taco place. Thank you whoever you are who works here. Service and food and ambient was phenomenal
