I am NOT a fan of Italian food. Acquiesced to hubby’s desire. Let me just say, the table was waaay too small for this absolutely delightful experience. Casual elegance, scrumptious food, exquisite desserts, cocktails, espresso. We had to get back on the road, or we would have camped at the table. Try everything you can. We’re going back, SOON!

Stopped in for a quick bday lunch. Our byop was amazing! Our drinks were also delicious. Service a little slow but we were not in a rush. We could also see that our server was handling other business going on in the building at the time. I honestly didn’t like that our server was also serving indoor and outdoor guest at the same time. It just seems unsanitary for the amount of ppl using the front door. For the place to be so warm and beautiful the bathroom was extremely disappointing, I recommend a remodel.

If you’re searching for a great dinner spot in Modesto on a Monday evening, Ciao Bella is a fantastic choice. It’s a sweet little spot in a strip mall but perfect for a nice dinner out. The food was impressively fresh—everything tasted like it was made to order, with real attention to quality ingredients. Our hostess and waitress, Ayilne, was phenomenal: friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. With so many places closed on Mondays, we were relieved to find Ciao Bella open and serving such delicious dishes. Highly recommend for both the food and the outstanding service!

The food was pretty good. I posted a picture of the spaghetti and meatballs. Thursdays are buy one pasta dinner and get one half off. When the bill came the discount wasn’t on it. They resolved the problem though when we asked about it. The chicken francece was delicious. My chicken parmesan was very good too and I loved the red sauce that was on it. I posted a few pictures of them. They tasted better than they look though.

There was a large group of us, however none in the group was rude to any of the staff. The waiter seemed nice at first but that quickly changed. The cauliflower appetizer left much to be desired. There were some questions about drinks and the waiter seemed very annoyed about the questions. The main dish came out (grilled chicken with veggies) bland at best! The waiter came by to check on the group and multiple people told him about the fountain drinks tasting watered down; again seemed very annoyed about the fact that people told him and aggressively asked what else did anyone want. Also there was nothing he could do about it. Again, no one in my party was rude to him at all. For the price point and the treatment it’s definitely a NO for me. It was extremely uncomfortable to deal with that.

first issue is service. our server was very nice but we sat for 15 minutes before she even greeted us. sat 20 minutes or so after apps were dropped before she checked on us to take the rest of our order. not good. second, the food was ok. not worth what they charge. The eggplant salad said crispy eggplant but ours was mushy. I ordered the stuffed pork chop. Now the menu says spicy but let me tell you i couldnt eat more than two bites it was so hot. I like spicy but this was too much. You arent able to enjoy your food when its that spicy. This was our first time here and we picked this place over Lucretias in crown point that we know is amazing each time. Wanted to give this place a try. Very disappointed.

Just visited by after the movies, totally not planned. Very good food with reasonable prices. I love it when the owner is stopping by and saying a few words or making sure that everything is ok. Also worth noticing was the waiter from the other table with the handlebar mustache, who was funny, and talkative with guests. Keep up the good and warm atmosphere.
