A small and authentic Italian restaurant. I’d recommend booking a table when you’re thinking of going here since it’s a cozy and popular space. Everything we ate was great and the service was fantastic.

Delicious Italian food can be found in this charming little family run restaurant in downtown Lauderdale by the Sea. We came here for dinner last Saturday night and felt fortunate to get in. I had the Orecchiette Broccoli E Salsiccia and my husband had fettuccine with meat sauce. Both meals were amazing. The pasta is cooked al dente, which we prefer and the sauces are so flavorful. Also, the sausage in my meal was high quality and not fatty.

As the other reviews have said, this is the real deal. Italian owners making authentic Italian with a great wine selection. What more do you need to know? The food was delicious, the wine was great and I wish we would have been able to stop in more than once.

This is one of finest dining experiences we have had in years. A refreshing and genuine Family atmosphere above all. The food was extraordinary on so many levels. We have been to Rome and this is every bit as delicious as that experience.

We visited Ciao Ammore on our recent trip to Fort Lauderdale. My husband and I ordered Calamari and Homemade Mozzarella with Prosciutto for appetizers. The calamari was golden, and cooked to perfection. The inside was buttery & soft and seasoned just right.

We visited from Montreal. Amazing experience, food, and service. Valentina and her family were incredibly nice and welcoming. This is the most authentic Italian restaurant we have been to in Florida!

Outstanding food and service. Authentic fresh Italian food cooked to perfection. I had pasta with clams and it was the best I have had (and I make my own at home which is absolutely delicious). My wife had pasta carbonara and again was absolutely perfect. Desert was homemade and also delicious. You want Italian cusine then come to this place snd it will not disappoint!! Bravo Ammore!!!!

Too much garlic present in dishes to be authentic Italian. Fried Calamari has garlic breadcrumbs seasoning. Chewy rubbery texture. Basic tomato sauce used in their dishes also has garlic in it. Lamb chops are thin. Seasoned with too much dried rosemary which overpowers flavor of lamb. Sauteed spinach that comes with lamb has garlic. Unfortunately, this restaurant has adapted Italian cuisine to American palate.
