What a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, you could feel the warmth of this small, family-owned restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the hospitality makes you feel like you’re dining in someone’s home in Italy.

Every dish was absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce tasted like it had been simmering all day, and the ingredients were simple but top quality. You can tell these are authentic recipes passed down through generations.

The service was attentive and genuinely kind, without ever feeling rushed. It’s rare to find a place that combines amazing food, heartfelt service, and such a charming atmosphere.

If you’re looking for true, authentic Italian cuisine made by people who care deeply about what they do, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back when we vacation in Fort Lauderdale in the future!!

Went for dinner on a Thursday evening. We started with a nice Chianti Riserva and the house made mozzarella & Prosciutto appetizer. The cheese and Prosciutto were both very good. The cacio y pepe was good, although it had cream. The Tortellini with guanciale, peas and cream was very good. We also had the souffle for dessert, which was very good. Service was good. A bit noisy inside but overall a very nice dining experience.

Just perfect. Everything is straight from Italy. The bruschetta is fresh. The mozzarella is salted just right. The meals were freshly made from scratch. No boxes no frozen here. The chicken pounded thin like it owes you money. If you’re close or not close. Come here.

My wife and I came here late (8:30pm) one night on a whim. Honestly, if you look through the pictures you will see that the food speaks for itself and we finished our plates. Most of the people dining at the restaurant were speaking Italian, as well as, the entire staff. I definitely do not speak Italian, but enjoyed the authenticity and feel of everything and everyone while we were there. The food was fresh and not heavy at all. Have not had the chance to go back yet, but this will definitely be a place that I choose to frequent. The size of the restaurant is both good and bad. It’s good because it gives you that nice and quaint vibe while dining there. It’s bad because they are very limited on space and you may not get a table when they are busy, so it may be better to call ahead or make a reservation. I would give them 4.7 stars for my first experience and hope to have many more

Few restaurants anywhere offer a family owned and operated venue devoted to giving their customers an authentic Italian experience. Ciao Ammore has it all. Call for reservations early and come with an appetite

Wonderful cozy atmosphere, great wine selection, the freshly made cheeses are a must try, unlike anything else you will have anywhere else in the area.

I wandered up from the beach to avoid the crowds and live music (not my thing). I am so glad I did, this was one of the best pasta dishes I ever had. Bread was perfect as well. It’s a really small nicely decorated place, and the vibes were relaxed and lovely. Don’t skip this place, it’s way worth your time.

Ciao Ammore Trattoria is one of those rare places that feels like it finds you at exactly the right time.

We discovered it in the most unexpected way while traveling in Rome. My daughter got sick and we ended up having to visit an ER. A kind security officer went out of his way to help us, and during conversation he told me about his friend’s restaurant back home in Fort Lauderdale: Ciao Ammore Trattoria. He showed me photos, talked about the food like it was a secret treasure, and spoke so highly of the people who own it that I promised myself we’d go as soon as we got home.

We did the very next weekend and it was even better than described. The food was incredible: fresh, authentic, full of flavor, and clearly made with pride. But what truly sets this place apart is the warmth. The owners are genuinely kind, welcoming, and treat you like family the moment you walk in.

We have been back several times but last night we went back to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday, and this is where they earned lifelong customers. When we arrived, the owner realized our reservation was actually booked for the following day. Instead of shrugging or turning us away, she smiled and said, “Give me five minutes.” She moved tables, reorganized the floor, and somehow made it work even though they had a larger group coming in. That level of care, effort, and hospitality is almost impossible to find anymore.

Ciao Ammore Trattoria is a true family restaurant: amazing Italian food, amazing people, and a place that makes you feel taken care of. If you’re looking for outstanding Italian food, this is it. If you’re looking for outstanding food and the kind of people who make your night special, this is definitely the place.

Highly recommend — we’ll be back again and again.

We went on a Saturday night. After calling multiple times during the week to get someone to answer the phone, I made a reservation for 6:30. Upon arriving at 6:30, the server (maybe the owner)greeted me by saying I’m late for my 6pm reservation. I told her it was for 6:30.

The server who may be the owner was not welcoming at all. She took our order by asking what we wanted and not engaging in any conversation with us.

I came here due to the great reviews. A reservation is required during season to get a table.

We started with the caprese and added prosciutto. It was fresh and tasty.

The pappardelle pasta with mushrooms had no flavor. The menu described it as having a white sauce. The sauce was more oily like and not flavorful. The pasta was dry.

The lasagna and eggplant were great.

No one checked on our satisfaction of our meal. The complimentary bread is delicious.

Overall, the service fell short and doesn’t make me want to return. It is metered parking in the attached lot.
