I waited in a line of vehicles well before closing. I was #3 in line of cars. The time I pulled up was 7:50pm. I made it to the window at 8:17pm only to be told, “sorry ma’am we’re out of chicken!” As if they don’t have to brains to anticipate the needs of the customers who arrived before closing! Horrible service & very inconsiderate!
I’m here again on Sunday. Arrive at 1047am. No signs that says open. I’m in the drive thru. No one shows up. Mind you, the hours of operations start 10:30am. So I drive away. Came back at 11:03am, still the neon sign is off. I pull up to drive thru, no one. Then after waiting 3 minutes, Mgr comes and says it will be another 4 minutes before food is ready. I wait some more…finally got my order at 11:18am

This was a quick stop to grab something for the Grandkids to eat after their football game.
We had to wait in the chicken tenders, which was fine because who doesn’t like fresh tenders! While waiting he came out to tell us they were out of mashed potatoes, and offered spicy rice. We said to just add more french fries. All in all it was a good meal. The Grandkids enjoyed it!

I told the person at the drive thru window that I wanted the 3 piece Texas Tenders. I had to repeat my order at least 4 times and it was as if I were speaking to a child! He kept thinking I was placing several orders. It it was just me! He never could get on the same page with me. I finally said I was leaving and he hollered out the window “and don’t come back”!

Church’s in El Campo is HORRIBLE!! We will NEVER eat there again! The mashed potatoes were powder, the biscuits were burnt, the brown gravy was clumpy, the dirty rice was VERY burnt, the HI-C fruit punch was watered down and to top it off they were out of napkins smh. This place is just not the same. Church’s needs Mrs. Petra back over there! We went at 7pm one time & they said they were out of chicken! They are ALWAYS out of something! They should just close the doors already tbh! I won’t waste another dollar at this place.

Church’s a disappointment if you sit in line your never sure of the food quality were receiving. We get home and it just pisses me off to my surprise open the box or sides & not receive what you paid for. Are yet worst if one decides to walk in, make sure you’re prepared to slide on your butt. Due to all the grease on that grimy greasy floor.

We arrived at this place at 8:05 by 8:25 they closed the doors of this place according to the times this place was supposed to be open till 10:00. The customers that came left with no food. The workers were not very clean you had one guy on his cell phone and tending money and serving food never was any handwashing going on. Same with cashier at front counter she was scratching her head and serving food not very sanitary place.

Sorry excuse for employees, lazy, do not want to keep making food 2 hours before closing time, rather do their closing routines instead of feeding customers. No body wants to work but everyone wants a paycheck.

Employees don’t memorize the orders long enough to get from the window to the hot grill area. And it’s very frustrating to get all the way home with food we didn’t order. As far as I’m concerned ” Service sucks at El Campo Church’s “
