This is definitely a must visit place for any beer enthusiasts. They have a very extensive list of lots of different styles of beer. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Some of their prices seemed high, but usually on great beer options. I was actually hoping they would have had the best list in the area, but unfortunately “The SOVEREIGN” won that battle. The atmosphere was kinda gloomy. I called and asked if it was kid friendly, I was told yes upon arrival I was met with a lot of stairs in a dark section making it annoying with the stroller. Overall if you love beer definitely come check this place out.

They always have the most amazing beer, excellent service and great atmosphere! If you get a ton of tastes you can try a lot of the menu while not sending too much. Drinks are really well priced for DC and the food is so good.

Fantastic beer bar! Tons of choices, including many rare hazies from the Northeast. Little bit pricey but hard to beat the vibe and selection. Servers have always been very nice. Food is good as well- really enjoyed the shrimp and grits.

This place has really changed. For such an expensive New Years Eve celebration we expected more and were ultimately disappointed though we used to enjoy ChurchKey as an after work spot. The promise of NYE canapés and gourmet bites for 4.5 hours was short lived, cut off after only 2.5 hours in exchange for very paltry dessert samples (a cookie, a chocolate bite and a butterscotch cannoli). The DJ had a very hard time reading the crowd and consistently played a selection that kept people glued in their seats until just when the ball dropped when the dance floor gained a few souls. The best part of the night was the genuinely open bar and friendly bartending service with good cocktails and craft brews that we took advantage of as best as we could. Wouldn’t go back unfortunately

Unquestionably the best beer bar in the DMV, and one of the best in the US. Expertly curated beer list that spans every meaningful style. Food is OK (the house made tots are exquisite), but the beer is the star of the show at CKDC.
