i recently visited the Church Street Cafe at 107 S Church St, in Hahira, GA. I went out on a trip to get a weekend breakfast and drive over here to try this restaurant. I was quickly seated but had to wait a bit to get my initial service or a hello. Yes, they were a tad busy but just a hey would have worked. I started my five minute get out clock but didn’t need it. The food was very good and after it settled down service and attentiveness was somewhat better. Still worth a visit.

Slow and not attentive service. wasn’t aware I had to pay up front so waited a while to get my check. Typical greasy diner food, bad presentation of the avocado toast, the avocado looked and tasted terrible. Will be back to check out lunch options but breakfast was not great. On the plus side this is one of the only diners that offer a good variety of flavored lattes. Also a menu at the drive thru would be helpful.

Tried this neighborhood cafe in downtown Hahira last week and had an absolutely terrific lunch, The chicken Caesar wrap had an especially tasty marinade, simply the best I’ve ever eaten. Same for the sweet potato waffle fries – perfectly crispy, nicely seasoned. Also the best!

We stopped in for Saturday morning breakfast at this little out-of-the-way spot while traveling through the area. It has a small-town, hometown feel with the friendly service you’d expect from a place like this. The menu is somewhat limited but covers the usual breakfast staples.
I did feel that most of the menu items were priced a bit on the higher side, especially for breakfast. I ordered the pancakes with chicken, and my wife had the avocado toast. She said her meal was just okay — the avocado spread tasted a bit flat. My pancakes were also just okay — not very fluffy and lacking any standout flavor. The chicken appeared to be a fried frozen chicken breast patty that had been sliced, which was a little underwhelming.
On the positive side, the bacon was excellent — definitely better than average — and both of our eggs were cooked exactly as we ordered.
Overall, it was a decent stop with friendly service, but the food itself was just average for us.

Update: Caleb is no longer the MJ of waiting tables at church street cafe. It is a new era and Jordan is the greatest waiter at this establishment. Make sure to ask for her when you go in. Super nice and personable, amazing waiter.

When traveling back from Florida to Atlanta, we wanted something different than the standard fast food. What a delightful place to discover. The Cobb salad was delicious (had the ranch dressing which was made in house, yum) and the specialty coffee was wonderful with a beautiful presentation. All in all a great place to recharge for the rest of our journey.

Service was poor. We came in and took a seat. The waitress said she would be back to take our order. After 10+ minutes I went to the counter and told another waitress what we wanted. 10 more minutes later, to get the lunch special, they brought our food. It was stone cold. We sent it back. Ten minutes later they brought us new plates and it was at best warm.

I had a piece of the home chips & omg they were SO FRESH!! Perfectly crispy, just enough salt not too over powering! Buffalo chicken wrap was good as well just wish it was more spicy!!
The burger itself was amazing, I wish I could eat it everyday, no lie. JUST GET YOU ONE & SEE!!!
