I had the #4 — eggs, bacon, dirty potatoes (fried potatoes with onions and green peppers) minus the green peppers, and an English muffin. My husband had French toast. Everything tasted so good. The dirty potatoes had a very good flavor. The syrup was also warmed up for the French toast. Also, places I normally go to eat when it’s getting cooler out, are cold, making it uncomfortable to eat…. Not this place, it was nice and warm! I will definitely come again if in the area! Oh, and never saw a toilet seat like this before (see pics).

The new owners are very very nice!! The breakfast me and my daughter had was the best!! My omelet was soooo good with a side of hollandaise sauce, with “dirty potatoes”! My daughter got easy over eggs, which were very runny, and is very hard to find, I’ve found. We split the bisques and gravy. Which sounds odd for breakfast, the soup sounded really good, so we had that too! Needless to say, we were happily miserable leaving there!!

The Chuckwagon is quintessential small town America. I had the tater tot scramble. It was served perfectly hot, the gravy is flavorful with a mild spice heat level. The tots stayed nicely crispy under the gravy blanket to the last bite.

The food is great, big portions and tasted great too. The prices are very cheap for the amount of food you get. They are cash only but that helps the prices stay low. The owner is one of the nicest men I know. We come every year with my granddaughters, and Bob the owner and them love telling jokes to each other. We love coming here and we made it a tradition to come every year. If you are in town definitely check it out.

Excellent breakfast selections at a reasonable price! Service was impeccable. The waitress gave our two young boys coloring books and crayons to keep them busy while we waited. (Even though the wait wasn’t long at all). We have been here twice and are disappointed we haven’t been here sooner. The Chuckwagon is our new favorite breakfast spot! Don’t miss out like we did. Check this special little gem out!

I like to see this place open. The food was “OK” pancakes were excellent, hash browns were under-cooked on 2 occasions and the coffee was a bit weak. These folks look to be working hard at it so I will continue to patronize them hoping they will fine-tune their operation.
