15 years later and we came back to Chuck’s! Still high quality food at a good price point. The scallops were like butter and the filet mignon was tender and melted in your mouth. Salad bar is great,I love the brown bread! We did have to slow the waitress down so we could sit and talk over our Mai Tai ‘s before ordering. We will be back very soon!

This was sad, I was excited to go here. Started with an Ice Tea that tasted off so I did not drink that. I ordered the steak and shrimp.

We were visiting Santa Barbara to see family and ate dinner here. We haven’t been here since the pandemic, and glad that they offered outdoor dining. Our server, Chad, was very friendly and excellent. They were very busy yet our server and other staff were attentive. We enjoyed our delicious salad, bread, and dinner. We’ve been over the years and highly recommend.

We haven’t been out in a long time. We Went to Chuck’s and had Great service, delicious food, and friendly staff. The lobster and steak plate and it was yummy, love the teriyaki rice. The salad bar is amazing too. Our server was great and kept checking on us even though she was very busy. I highly recommend going here for dinner or drinks and apps. Relaxing atmosphere, beachy feel and theme.

All in all, an ok experience. The steaks were ok at best. Mine was under done a bit more than I’m used to. My wife ended up asking for steak sauce–which isn’t a normal thing. The rice was interesting where I can’t quite decide if I liked it or not. The salad bar was good, but had some odd options. The menu was very simple and presented on an empty bottle. The restaurant was very dark on the inside, but ok enough once you get used to it.

Chuck’s is a popular steakhouse in Santa Barbara. I had been once before for happy hour appetizers with friends but hadn’t had a chance to stop for dinner until now.

Chuck’s of Hawaii is an “Old School” but still cool fish and steak restaurant reminiscent of the Tiki Torch places of the 1970’s. It’s been open for over 50 years and still is very popular. The menu is written on empty brown Lancer Wine bottles and offers a selection of fish, steaks and chicken and scallops. There is a lively full service bar with a number of televisions for watching seasonal sports. They have a salad bar with a variety vegetables, salad greens and condiments plus several bins of warm fresh bread. I ordered the fresh Halibut which came perfectly cooked and seasoned. My dinner companion ordered the Ahi Tuna rare and again it was perfection. Well worth a visit when visiting Santa Barbara.
